The smell of sanitizer was heavy in the room. The white walls seemed to cave in on you, their emptiness eating away at what little sanity people had. It drove them crazy sitting, waiting, to hear the news of their loved ones.
Except for Sunni.
Choi Sunni had been in and out of the hospital since the age of 5. She practically lived there. However, the young girl was what brought some light onto the patients time in Korea's biggest hospital.
The nine-year-old always seemed to be smiling, a joyous look in her face as she skipped around the hospital. She would occasionally stop and make conversation with the passerby's.She was a well known face in the hospital, a sort of good luck charm for those who were waiting for their loved ones to come out of the operation room. She always seemed to give them the slightest glimmer of hope even in the worse of times.

He was a petite young boy, smaller compared to most boys his age. His dark hair nearly always fell in his eyes, a mysterious current that shielded his emotions on the other side.
