Solar Eclipse

I woke up to Hunter snoring, he's always done that and it was cute but annoying, I smiled and pinched his nose making him wake up. "Good Morning." I said, he smiled and said "Good Morning." We laid in bed for a few minutes, cuddling and kissing, before he asked "Do I still have any clothes here?" I looked at him "Maaaaaaybbee." I said smiling and kissed his neck. "You know I like it when you do that to me." he said laughing lightly wrapping his arms tighter pulling me closer. I laughed and put my hands on his chest, "I know, that's why I do it." I said, his body was really warm. "Hey you two should get dressed, there's a storm coming." My dad said through my door, Hunter found his stash of clothes, which included boxers, and got dressed. I walked into my closet and picked out a blue sweater, jeans and my brown boots, simple but warm. Hunter had a yellow, green, and black plaid shirt unbuttoned with a grey tank top on underneath, black jeans, and black and grey converses on. I put my hair up because I really didn't feel like messing with it, "Ready?" he asked standing behind me, "Yeah let's go." I said grabbing my purse.

When we got to school Kayla greeted us, she didn't look happy. "What's wrong?" I asked, she scowled and said "Go look inside." I walked in and written in black paint everywhere was, 'We are coming!' I walked back outside as my dad's car pulled up followed by police cars, my dad walked over to us and said "Its a warning and today is a Solar Eclipse, werewolves will be at their strongest." I nodded and said "We should go prepare then right?" He nodded and said "I'll try to get there help." I nodded and went to our 'pack' and said "We have to go to my house now." everyone nodded and went to their cars. When we got to my house I filled Chrissy in and we went to the basement, "They probably won't wait for us." Kayla said "This area here," I said pointing on the map as everyone got ready, "this is where we fight, not only is it a graveyard but its also a focus point for multiple energies." I finished. "She's right, from a strategy stand point it's the perfect place." Hunter said looking at the area, as he loaded his weapons. We went to the area, I looked back and saw a person in a cloak following us, they kept their distance.

Taylor was waiting on us when got to the clearing, "Welcome to your last stand!" she said gesturing to the clearing, "Not going to happen!" I said. "Awww do you honestly think you and your pathetic pack can beat us?" she said as Benedict and his pack came into the clearing. "Are these misfits even trained?" Benedict asked laughing. I scowled, I squatted and placed my hand on the ground, I felt the pulse of the dead. "Rise!" I said the dead rose out of their unmarked graves and surrounded us and Benedict's pack. Taylor laughed and said "really? your tricks aren't going to work now." she waved here hand but nothing happened to the undead, "Damn eclipse." she said. "Attack! But leave Luna to me and the witch!" Benedict barked at his pack. They all charged, "Help fight off the ones attacking my friends!" I yelled at the undead, they started attacking Benedict's pack. Benedict charged at me transforming, and tackled me sending me flying into a tree. "Luna!" Hunter yelled fighting off Anthony, I was laying motionless on the ground. "It's over! That was easy." Benedict said walking away from me, "No!" Kayla yelled, I felt the ground shaking as she used a focus point to her advantage. I felt someone touch my side, "Get away from her!" I heard Sin yell, I woke up and saw it was the person following us, "We are here to help." She said quietly to me, "Now go get up, and show them what you're made of little one." she said. I stood up and began to transform, the air got colder as I howled. Benedict turn to see me coming at him, before he could react he was on the ground my claws puncturing his neck. He bled out, Taylor's eyes widened as she started to run, my lanterns stopped her. Benedict's pack fought on despite their leader laying on the ground dead, and the strangest thing happened a bird transformed into a bear and took out five of the attackers. "Dammit! Not them!" Taylor said, other people came out of the woods in similar armor to the ones before. Taylor started fighting back, all her attacks were hitting me but weren't doing much damage to me.

I swiped at her with my claws and it was like her skin was made out of glass. Her skin cracked, and used her magic to throw me away from her. "Retreat you idiots!" she said running, a blast of fire killed the retreating werewolves. "That's for Granny!" Chrissy yelled, Taylor stopped in her tracks and said "Dammit!" she disappeared. The people in armor and cloaks grouped together, there wasn't many but they all had amazing powers, the bear bird or whatever walked in the front of the group as it transformed into a guy around eighteen, with black hair and bright hazel eyes. "Sir she disappeared." said the woman who gave me the strength to fight again, "I know go find her!" he said facing them. They ran off into the woods paired in twos, only he stayed. "Who are you?" I asked, still transformed. "That's none of your concern as of now." he said shortly and flew off in bird form.

I was having trouble transforming back due to the eclipse, and a flash of light made me collapse on the ground as an arrow was shot into my side. "Mom No!" Hunter yelled opened my eyes transforming back to human as she notched another arrow. "She's a monster, Hunter! She needs to be put down!" she said as she let it go, I closed my eyes and waited for the arrow. I smelt blood but not mine, it was Hunter's, I rushed to him the arrow was stuck in his chest but not in his heart but in one of his lungs. He coughed up blood, "I told you I had your back." he said laughing weakly, "Don't talk." I said holding his hand. Kayla kneeled next to me and said "It would take to long for me to heal him." I nodded I already knew that, "This might hurt." I said to him pulling the arrow out, I grabbed his arm and bit him. "What did you do?!" His mom yelled in protest, I stood up and said to her "I just saved your only sons life! Now if you want to shoot me go ahead, but I won't do you any more favors like that!" I pulled the arrow out of my side and started bleeding, again.
