Stop it, Alexei! This is too dangerous. You could have killed him!"

But he didn't listen and pushed the girl away. "It's us or he who would die. So shut up and let me concentrate."

A few minutes before

Alexei and Sera had on their mission to exchange the wrong dress with the right one. It went smooth until now. They were successfully swapped it. Thank the gods, Chisa-chan wasn't perform yet, so they could still save her life from Master's punishment.

"Ugh... crap. I should never have help her. I wouldn't have gone back to this creepy mansion." Alexei whispered to himself when he saw there was no other way to escape from this mansion. There were guards everywhere now as if they knew that there were intruders here.

"Could you please stop grumbling?" Sera said for the hundredth time.

"Shut up, shorty. It is my mouth. I can speak whatever I want."

"My name is Seraphine. So please, stop calling me shorty. Besides, we should get out of here before we caught by the guards."

Alexei rolled his eyes. "Easier to say it than do it." He scanned the area once again to see if there was any way for them to escape through.

"Then stop grumbling and figure a way out."

"Ugh... stop commanding me. I'm your senior." He opened the door a little and peeked in, but immediately closed it as his eyes caught sight of something

He gagged Sera's mouth before the girl could shout at him again. "Shh... There's a guard out there."

After he could no longer hear any footsteps, he let go. "Now, follow me and stay quiet." He opened the door again and went outside with Sera only to get spotted by another guard.

"Who are you?"

The voice made the two of them froze in their place, because they both knew whose voice is it.

This is worse than caught by the guards. Alexei muttered.

Aidan Glaive finally could finally excuse himself after talking with the guests for hours. He sneaked into the crowd, walking carefully while his head down. He walked away from the stage, towards the exit of the mansion. The dancer had just finished dancing when he reached his escape route. Aidan could tell as the guests were clapping their hands. After bumping into several people, he finally reached the hallway. At first, Aidan wanted to go to his room and get some rest, but his mother might find out. So he turned left instead of right. He continued walking down the corridor, wishing that the servants who were guarding the corridor didn't tell his mother where he was heading.

Let's go to another room.

But he didn't turn the corner as a strange thing caught his eyes. Aidan decided to investigate. He saw a boy open a door, right after a guard passed by. The boy pushed it open slowly and went in, followed by a little girl. They walked carefully ensuring that their footsteps could not be heard by the guards.

He couldn't see the children's face clearly because the both of them were walking away from him, the hoods they were wearing making it harder to see. Even so, Aidan knew that that one of them was a boy and the other was a girl. Before he could think things through, he found himself standing in the middle of the corridor, shouting.

"Who are you?"

As he expected, the two children ran away instead of turning back and introducing themselves to him.
