CARL'S POV
"Babe, gising na." A familiar voice woke me up.
I slowly opened up my eyes and saw that familiar pretty face again. Hers is the face that I always wanted to see.
This is the kind of life that I want.
Gigising ka sa umaga and when you finally opened your eyes, hers is the face that you would see.
I smiled at her and stretched my two arms to reach her and pull her towards me.
"Aubrey". I uttered her name with tears welling up in my eyes.
I kissed her eyes, her cheeks, I kissed her all over her face.
I love her so much!
Ito ang babaeng gusto kong makasama habang buhay. Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit at matagal.
"Babe, 8 a.m. na. Late na tayo." Tumayo ito at nagpamewang habang matamis itong nakangiti sa 'kin.
"Hmn, teka, bakit parang sobrang sweet mo yata ngayon ah, did you do something bad?" Tanong niya.
"Wala babe!"
"Grabe naman babe!" I said smiling at her.
She sat giggling on the edge of the bed.
"Kapag naging extra sweet ba, may ginawa agad. Of course wala. Ipagpapalit pa ba kita?" I pulled her for another embrace.
"Magkasama tayo buong magdamag 'di ba? How can you think of such thing?" She just shrugged her shoulders and smirk.
She slept in my apartment last night after clubbing. Almost seven months pa lang kami ni Aubrey pero siya na ang gusto ko sanang makasama for the rest of my life pero paano pa?
Legally married na 'ko. A pang of pain suddenly hit as I clearly remember what happened the past few days.
Maya maya sunod sunod na doorbell ang nagpabalikwas sa 'kin mula sa pagkakahilata sa kama.
Pagalit akong lumakad palabas ng kwarto para buksan ang pinto.
Who could be knocking in front of my door this early?
Nanlaki na lang ang mga mata ko nang makita ko si mommy.
Nanlilisik sa galit ang mga mata nito.
Ilang segundo lang, Aubrey's already behind me.
Napatango siya when she saw my mom.
When mom stepped inside she she immediately asked me to make her a cup of coffee.
I obeyed at once alam ko it's not a good idea to leave her in the living room with my girlfriend but I know she can be so hysterical if I don't follow to stay with Aubrey.
I sighed. I hope everything will be fine.

"Aubrey, iha. I'm not against your relationship with my son but it's not good for such a fine young lady to be sleeping with his boyfriend's apartment. Kasi... "
"Kasi mga bata pa kayo. Kasi hindi pa kayo tapos ng pag-aaral ninyo." Wika ng ina ni Carl.
"Mga.. estud.. " she blew a heavy sigh.
"You know what!? I am not against your relationship but if this.. this is what the two of you are just going to do while both of you are still studying.. I guess magagalit lang ako sa 'yo." Dagdag pa nito.
Si Aubrey naman nakayuko lang habang nakikinig kay Alicia.
"Mga estudyante pa lang kayo, if mabuntis ka ano na?!" Muling sabi nito.
"Sana h'wag ng maulit ito. Lalaki si Carl. Kaya ikaw ang kinakausap ko dahil ikaw ang babae marami ang pwedeng mawala sa 'yo. Maraming pwedeng masira." Tumayo ito.
"Para sa iyo rin ang sinasabi ko." Sabi pa niya at pagdaka'y tumalikod.
Tahimik ding tumayo ang dalaga at pagdaka'y pumasok na rin ng silid ni Carl.

CARL'S POV
When I finished with mom's brewed I headed towards the living room. But to my surprise wala na ang dalawang pinaka importanteng babae sa buhay ko.
Baka nasa room.
Pero wala si Aubrey sa kwarto ko.
Pagalabas ko nakasalubong ko si mommy galing sa terrace.
"Where's Aubrey, ma?" I asked.
"Aba'y," she breathed deeply.
"Hindi ko alam, Carl. She was just sitting there when I went to the terrace." She abruptly replied.
"Did you say something to her?" I asked again.
"Well, why don't you ask her if I said something against her or against the two of you." Sagot niya.
I shook my head.
I knew it! I shouldn't have left her with mom.
I was about to go to the door to check baka lang kasi kakalabas niya pa lang ng pinto but mom stopped me.
"Carlito Lorenzo ! Saan ka pupunta?"
Buong pangalan ko talaga! Ibig sabihin galit ito.
"I'll be looking for Aubrey!"
Isang sampal ang tumama sa mukha ko.
Napasapo ako ng pisngi while staring at mom in wonder.
