Next morning the kids woke the whole house up at 7:30.
"Guys it's 7:30 in the morning." I said going into the living room
"But we want to open our presents." Lilly said
"When everyone else is down." I said
"But that could take hours." Casper said
"Then have some breakfast." I said
When everyone was down we let the kids open their presents.
"Now don't worry this isn't it there are some more back there back at home. These are the presents from Santa, our presents, the ones from us are at home waiting for you for when we get home." I said
"Ben this is for you." James said handing Ben an envelope
"What is it?" Ben said taking the envelope
"Have a look." Jodie said
Ben opened the letter and screamed we all looked at him.
"I'm coming to live with you." Ben said looking at Jodie and James
"Only if you want to." James said
"Yes please." Ben said running over to James and Jodie and throwing his arms around them
We all cheered.
"Does that mean I have to move schools?" Ben said
"Not if you don't want to." Jodie said
Ben was smiling. You could see it on his face that he was excited.
"Can I stay there." Ben said
"Course." James said
"When do I move in with you guys?" Ben said
"Well your in my custody until February. So after the 15th of February." I said
"Okay." Ben said
"But I can change that if you want me to." I said
"No that's okay." Ben said
"Happy Ben?" Jodie said
"Yeah really happy." Ben said smiling
"Good." I said smiling
"It's great. Thanks." Ben said coming over to me and giving me a hug
"What for sweetie?" I said
"Putting up with me." Ben said
"Anytime sweet." I said
We had a lovely Christmas day and we all had a great time. We didn't have a roast dinner it was to hot for that so we had a barbecue instead. We spent most of the day playing in the pool, eating for to much food and chilling out. The children enjoyed themselves and were all so tired that they didn't argue when it was time for bed.
"What a lovely day." I said sitting next to Con
"Yeah. It's been amazing." Josh said
"Thanks for inviting me Rhi." Edward said
"Anytime dude." I said
"What you doing now Edward?" Con asked
"Not much. Finally finished Uni after being hit by the car." Edward said
"How is your leg?" I asked
"Getting there." Edward said
"So have you got any plans for the future?" Connor said
"Well I've always wanted to do something with music. But I can't sing to save my life. but I like the writing process and producing." Edward said
"Your with the right people." I said smiling
"Yeah." Edward said
"Oh that's Grace." I said hearing Grace cry
"I'll go." Con said getting up.
"Trist you do a lot of producing." I said
"Yeah. Come round Edward and I can teach you a few things." Trist said
"I'd like that." Edward said
"As for writing Edward we all write our own music." Ash said
"Yeah we're all pretty good at it. You should come hang out with us." James said
I could see in Edwards face that all this made him really happy. He was the more musical one out of him and Joseph. Edward could play the guitar. key board and drums.
"I'll like that." Edward said
"Good." James said
"Grace okay?" I asked when Connor came back into the living room
"Yeah she's fine." Con said sitting on the sofa
"Good." I said smiling
What an amazing holiday. Just what everyone needed before the new year kicked off.
All the kids had a great time and it was exciting to spend time with them.
We got back to the UK shortly after the new year. Back to school and back to work. The 5sos boys were getting ready for tour they were heading down to London. They had some time booked with Tom Fletcher to write some new songs for the new album.
Connor was going to be the house husband for the next couple of months while I worked and then went on tour with the 5sos boys at the start of May. I couldn't wait to go on a proper full tour again.
"Lilly-Anna, Casper, Ben and Jessie you guys up." Con shouted up the stairs. it was the start of February and we only had 2 week left with Ben before he moved in with Jodie and James.
Con was doing the school run today as I had to be in early to sort of some issues that had come up over the Christmas break with the show.
"Coming." They said coming down the stairs.
"Get a move on. Lilly tie." Con said
"Ben you ready?" I said
"Yeah." He said picking up his bag
"Good. Come on then." I said
"See you later babe." Connor said kissing me
"Have a good day." I said
"Okay." Con said
"Bye guys." I said
"Bye mum." They said
Me and Ben left.
"Lilly breakfast." I heard Con say as I reached the door. I smiled and me and Ben left.
I got to school and James was already there with a bacon sandwich for me
"Thanks James." I said taking the sandwich.
The day went really slowly and just seemed to drag on forever. When the day was finally over I still had rehearsals that night. Charlotte and James had come into school to lend a hand.
"come on guys we've done this a hundreds times already we know it. did the holiday scramble your brains or something." I said
"Rhi maybe a break is in order." Charlotte said
"Yeah good idea." I said
"okay guys take 10 and we'll come back and go from the start." I said
"Bright side Rhi." James said when I sat back down me, Charlotte and James were sat in front of the stage watching
"I must be mad. A show this big." I said
"It's going to be okay Rhi." Charlotte said
"I hope you guys are right." I said
