Gaster and Alphys

WARNING! SPOILERS FOR PACIFIST RUN WITH ALPHYS!

"S-so, would someone e-explain what makes this h-human special?" Alphys asked.

"Well, for one, my mother taught me a song that is only found in the statue. And for two, I can tell when things are bad or good and stuff like that." You explained.

"You s-sound a lot like (m/n). S-she had the same a-ability as you. A-and she always loved t-that statue." Alphys said.

"What? Ok, I don't know if we are talking about the same (m/n) but I know that was my mother's name. And she did have my ability." You said. You started to wondered how a monster would know your mother.

"I-I think we are talking a-about the same (m/n). She u-used to be a human s-subject for the previous r-royal scientist. Once that scientist f-fell into the core, s-she took one of the m-monster souls that he was p-preserving and left the U-Underground." Alphys explained.

"So my mother used to be a test subject. What was the scientist's name?" You asked.

"H-his name was Gaster. He w-was Sans and Papyrus's f-father." Alphys said.

"That explains why he said that there was something familiar about the punk. I'll go back to Sans and tell him." Undyne said.

"I'll come with." Melody said. Undyne and Melody walked out of the lab.

Your 'feelings' started to act up again. It led you two a door. "H-hey! W-what are y-you doing?" Alphys asked.

"What's in there?" You asked.

"I-it's nothing important! L-let's go and c-check on Undyne." Alphys suggested.

"You go ahead but I need to go into here." You said. You went to open the door when Alphys stopped you.

"P-please don't! I-I'm not ready for anyone to know!" Alphys said. She instantly put her hands on her mouth.

"Alphys, I'm sorry but I need to go into here. I cannot ignore my 'feelings'. I learned that the hard way when I ignored it and it got my mom and dad killed." You said.

"(m-m/n) is dead?" Alphys asked.

"She's been dead for three years because I chose to ignore my 'feelings' for one day. Now please Alphys, I need to go in there. Whatever it is that is in there, you shouldn't have to be afraid to tell me, especially if it is something important." You said.

"Oh... I'm sorry. I r-really do want to t-tell you but... I don't w-want you to hate me. If anyone were to know, t-they would all hate me. I-its better to be loved a-as who people think y-you are than be h-hated as yourself." Alphys said.

"Alphys, it's not good to hide important things from others. You need to tell people what is going on, and if they hate you for it, they aren't meant to be your friends. The people who are meant to be with you will always love you for who you are, no matter how many bad things you did." You reassured her.

"Y-yeah, ok. I-I guess it's time at l-least someone knows what I have done." Alphys said. She opened the door and you both walked in. It was an elevator. Alphys pushed a button and the elevator went down. Once the door opened, you saw a dark creepy room.

Suddenly, strange creatures started to show up in front of you. Your feelings told you they were friendly.

"These a-are what I have been hiding. T-they were monsters that w-were dieing. Their families wanted m-me to save them. I remembered G-Gaster putting magic i-into (m/n). I thought m-maybe I can put D-DETERMINATION inside of the monsters. It w-worked for the most part. I was a-about to give them b-back to their families w-when they started melting t-together. These are the end p-product of putting DETERMINATION i-into dieing monsters. D-do you see now why I am a-afraid to tell the truth?" Alphys explained. You walked up to the dog creature and started petting it.

"You need to give them back to their families. Trust me Alphys, I just know it will work out for you." You said.

"Y-you're right. If your a-anything like (m/n), then y-you are always right." Alphys said. Your 'feelings' started to drag you again. You walked around with Alphys following you until you got to a room with lots of mechanical parts.

"W-what are we doing here?" Alphys asked.

"I don't know, but I need some things. Don't ask me why because I don't know." You said. You and Alphys grabbed all the parts that your 'feelings' told you to. Once done getting all the parts, you started to put them together. After a while, you finished.

"A r-remote?" Alphys asked.

"I'm not completely sure but I have an idea on what this might do. Can you lead me to the core?" You asked.

"W-wait! Are you doing what I think you're doing?" Alphys asked.

"I think so, but let's go." You said. Alphys lead you back up to the main floor and out of the front door of the lab. You both walked to the right. You found yourself in a hotel. Alphys led you out the back door and into what you guessed was the core. You two walked a little farther into the core and stopped.

"Alright, let's see if we can bring him back." You said. You aimed the remote at a wall and pressed the button. A crack in the wall appeared and soon grew. It formed into a black door. You and Alphys stepped back and waited. After a few moments, the door opened. A monster came out. He looked somewhat like a skeleton. He had two cracks on his head. One on the top of his head leading to his right eye and the other from the bottom of his left eye to his mouth. He wore a black robe and his hands had holes in them.

"G-Gaster! Human! Y-You did it!" Alphys said.

"You can call me (y/n)." You suggested.

"Alphys? What happened? How was I able to escape the void?" Gaster asked.

"Gaster, t-this human saved you. S-she is the offspring of (m/n)! After y-you fell, (m/n) took your preserved monster soul and l-left the Underground. S-she must have found a mate a-and had a child. This child h-has attained her m-mother's abilities. Thanks to that, s-she saved you." Alphys explained.

"I must have been gone a long time because this child already seems to be in her teens. Where is (m/n) now?" Gaster asked.

"S-she... my mother died three years ago." You explained.

"Oh, I am sorry." Gaster said.

"It's fine. Now on a happier subject, let's reunite you with your children." You said smiling. Gaster smiled and nodded.

"Here Alphys, I shall take you home." Gaster said. He put one hand on you and the other on Alphys. A puff of multi-colored smoke appeared around you. When the smoke disappeared, you were inside Alphys's lab. The smoke appeared again and when it disappeared, you were in front of Sans and Papyrus's house.

You took a deep breath and walked up to the door.
