Hiccup
Gosh, I am that stupid that I stutter again in front of Astrid. She is different, and that's one thing I like about her. As I finished one of my inventions, Dad came inside my workshop! "Dad! I um, didn't know you were here." He laughs, "It's kinda hard to get through your doorway. So, how you doing here?" I shurgged, "Doing well. I was making some inventions and I'm not sure if I should test it." "Afraid? Don't worry, son. I'm sure those inventions would bring down the beasts." "I'm not sure. Hey Dad, I was thinking about something." Dad looks at me and ask, "What is it?" I rubbed my head, "Is it possible that we might have peace with Dragons one day?" He laughs at me as if it was the craziest idea I ever come up with. "Son, these dragons are dangerous." I sighed, "Ok."
Astrid
I thought of how I should escape from Berk. I really don't like the idea of continuing to kill innocent dragons just because they were forced to by the Queen, or I like the call it, " The Red Death," and I knew if anyone finds out my ability to communicate with Dragons I would be in big trouble than my dragon friends. "Are you ok, Astrid?" Someone asks. I turned around to see Luna, Hiccup's adoptive sister. Hiccup found her in a shipwreck in the beach and Stoick realize that she doesn't have a family and couldn't bear that, so he and Hiccup took her in. I said, "Oh, hey, Luna. I was just thinking about the raids again." "Oh, where you think they were attacking Berk instead of the other isles? They had plenty of food." I shrugged, "Honestly, I had no idea." She said, "Well, I'm going to woods." I got up and asked, "Mind if I join you?" She nods and we walked to the woods. As I was walking, an idea struck me in my mind. I can fake my death in the woods, making a dragon kill me! I have to try, but Vikings are not easy to trick. As I was looking around, Luna yelled, "Astrid, look at this!" I ran towards her voice and I saw a cove. "Wow. It's beautiful." I said in awe. Luna said, "I think we should head back before Stoick gets worried." We walked back to the village. "I'm going to the Kill Ring." I told Luna. She said, "Are you sure?" I nodded, "Positive." I left her before she asks me another question. "Hookfang, wake up, it's me, Astrid." The Nightmare woke up and saw me. "Oh, hey, Astrid. What brings you here?" He asks me. "I think I have an idea of how we can escape from Berk. But I really need your help."
Stoick
I thought of what Hiccup told me. Us Vikings get along with Dragons? Is that even possible? As I was thinking, Luna came in. "Hey, Stoick." I laughed. Ever since Hiccup and I adopted her, she calls me Stoick instead of Dad. "Luna, you can call me, "Dad." What brings you here?" "I was wondering where Hiccup is." I replied, "Oh, your brother is in the Forge, making inventions." She was surprised of my words. "He can invent things?" "Yeah, he does. Although his inventions..." "What?" She asks. "Let's just say that his inventions sometimes doesn't go to plan to do." Luna said, "Oh." Right on cue, Hiccup came in. "Hey Dad, hey, Luna." "Hey, Hiccup. What you invent this time?" She asks. He winks, "It's something that would help me in a raid. I was thinking I could test it out when the next raid comes. What you guys think?" I smiled, "Well, just be careful out there in the Raid. It's really dangerous." Hiccup laughs, "Dad, we're Vikings. It's an occipital hazard." I smiled. "One day, Hic, you will become Chief." He was surprised. "Really? Me, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third, Chief? Uh, are you sure it's a good idea?" I nodded, "Yes, but one day." Luna pats Hiccup on his shoulder. "Chief Hiccup. I like the sound of that." Hiccup blushes, "Thanks, Luna." "Anything for you, Hic."
