Savannah

Waking up the next morning to my alarm shouting at me was a bit disorienting. Almost every morning I was awake before the alarm could even sound. I wasn't going to conclude that Michael was the cause of this sleeping through the night right off, but he had stayed here last night and it was the first time I've slept until my alarm rang without having a nightmare.

Speaking of Michael, he must already be up because he was not in the space beside me. A little jolt of fear creeped into my mind as pictures flashed through of what could of happened to him; all of them being something bad. So much for thinking that maybe I could forget what happened with Mason.

I knew it was crazy thinking because after I got out of bed and into the hallway, I could hear his and Breanna's voice. I knew why she was here so early; we were having my album cover shoot today. I was excited about it because it was the semi last thing we had to do for the album; the only thing left was to choose the end photos and have the music edited and then for everything to be put together.

"Morning, Savannah." Breanna smiled, seeing me come down the stairs. Upon hearing my name, Michael turned around, giving me a wide smile.

"Good Morning, babe."

He gave me a kiss whenever I got close enough to him.

"Morning." I muttered, the hungry feeling creeping up. I left the two of them to talk while I walked into the kitchen. Thankfully, Breanna was a doll and took it upon herself to get me some food.

I grabbed the banana out of the bowl on the island, unpeeling half of it and taking a bite as I disregarded the two in my living room again as I walked upstairs to shower.

Michael

Having Taylor here to help me pack for Savannah seemed to help me a lot. I wasn't for sure what shirts to pack for her or if she'd want pants, shorts, or dresses, and I'm not even going to start on the aspect of her under garments.

All of that can be left to Taylor because he spent the entirety of tour picking out her clothes and I'm positive he'd know what she would wear; I'll stick with packing the electronic stuff and toiletries for her.

When I got the go ahead this morning by Breanna, I was glad because I had already jumped the gun and bought the tickets to leave tonight. I couldn't help it, I wanted her to come with me to Australia because I know she would enjoy it there.

"Okay, bags for clothes and shoes are done." Taylor called from inside her bedroom. When I came in to place my bag full of her stuff beside the others, I was shocked. He had five bags stacked on top of each other. Obviously, I knew that she was only leaving for two weeks but I don't think Taylor knew that bit of information.

"Damn, Taylor. She's only going to be gone for two weeks, not three months." I chuckled, hoping he would get the hint that five suit cases full of clothes wasn't going to be needed. He caught the hint, giving me a sheepish laugh before unzipping bags and going through them again.

After shoving mine and her things into the back of Taylor's car, we set out to the area Savannah had picked to do her photo session at. Taylor, who was her stylist, had been helping me throughout the afternoon, leaving her to use the back-up they had arranged for.

The shoot itself wasn't going to be much, - or at least that's what I got from the two talking about it this morning. That was why Taylor was with me.

When he had asked about where I was taking her and received the answer of Australia, he liked that I was having her meet my parents. It might be a bit early- if being together for a little over two months is considered early – for the meeting the parents stage but I knew it'd be a good thing for her.

"Michael? What are you doing here?" Savannah asked when she saw me walking into the trailer she was sitting in. I smiled at her bare face, bringing my hand to my lips, gesturing that it was a secret. She gave me a stern stare before returning to the conversation with the photographer. They had just wanted to take a couple more shots before they called it finished.

I waited, and looked on as they took the final shots then called it a wrap. When Savannah was finished gathering up her stuff, I led her to Taylor's car. He was riding in the car with Breanna so we could drive to the airport alone then when we got there he was taking it back.

"So are you going to tell me where we are because I'm positive my house is in the other direction and we're using Taylor's car." She asked once I had taken a different exit. I kept mum about it still, wanting to see how far she'd go before I'd have to tell her.

"Come on, Mikey. Tell me where we're going. Please?" She gave me a puppy dog eyed look but I didn't look at her for too long.

"Sorry, love, no can do."

She let out a huff, crossing her arms over her chest. It was cute watching her pout and beg to find out where we were headed to. When we pulled into the exit lane for the airport and drove up to the drop off zone, she changed her posture; giving me a stare of disbelief.

From the rear-view mirror, I saw Taylor and Breanna roll to a stop behind me.

"Time to get out, doll face."

I got out of the car, heading to the trunk and grabbing some of the bags out once it was opened, setting them down beside me.

"So, care to tell me where we're headed now since you've brought me to the airport?" Savannah asked, grabbing the last of the bags.

She didn't seem mad about me just surprising her with a trip so I took it she was okay with it.

"We, my dear, are going to Australia. I want you to meet my parents."

I honestly am not for sure on how much I like this chapter. It's definitely not my best work and for that I'm sorry. Also I'm sorry that it's taken so long to update this. I've been on a reading spree lately. I have read so many Nora Roberts books lately. I may have a little surprise for this story as well. Not sure on it, but we'll see about it. :) :)
