Song has nothing to do with the story, I'm just going to start adding songs that give me the most inspiration for the chapter.
Song: Phoenix Hearts by We The Kings

"I see you guys were having fun, with cake it seems," Garroth chuckled.

Laurance looked up and stopped laughing. Clearing his throat in the process, biting his lip to hold back a grin. "Aphmau started it!" He slightly yelled pointing a finger at Aphmau.

He couldn't stop but laugh again, which made Aphmau laugh even more. Garroth even chuckled.

"It wasn't my fault Laurance," Aphmau had to stop before she laughed her brains out. "Wouldn't take a piece of my cake!"

Laurance stopped laughing for a moment before standing up. Looking towards Aphmau and helping her up. "I should probably get back to showing you around the village. Sorry for disturbing you with our laughter Garroth." Laurance said seriously grabbing Aphmau's hand.

Heading towards the door Garroth stopped Laurance. Placing his hand on his shoulder, Laurance shrugged it off and went on his way. Aphmau slightly behind him.

Laurance made his way through Phoenix Drop, passing many villagers. Including two kids, one with dark brown hair and one with blonde, they were both staring at Aphmau but she guessed it was because she was new. Laurance loosened his grip a bit as they got closer to their destination, the Lady Irene statue. Sighing he actually let go of Aphmau's hand, letting her be amazed at the statue.

"This looks beautiful!" She exclaimed, stepping over to the edge. "It's on the side of a cliff overlooking the sun, now this would be the perfect date spot."

Laurance softly chuckled. He seemed almost calm with her, like he didn't even care if he was Zane's second in command. It was almost like a dream, something he would wake up from at any moment just wishing it would be real. Sighing he leaned up against a tree.

"It actually is really beautiful," he smiled, looking over at Aphmau. He had just met her but something felt familiar to him, something that was nagging him to say this. "It's not as beautiful as you though." He quickly covered his mouth with his armoured hand, figuring out what he had just said.

"What did you say?" Aphmau asked, looking towards Laurance slightly confused as to why he had his mouth covered.

"Nothing!" Laurance practically yelled, removing his hand.

"Oh, okay. For a second there I thought you said I was beautiful," Aphmau chuckled. Her hair moving to the side from the slight breeze that there was. She tugged it behind her ear.

There was silence, well rather then the sound of rushing water coming from the statue. Aphmau stared out in the water below, watching the fish that she could see go by.

"We should probably get going, there's still more of Phoenix Drop to be seen," Laurance sighed, heading towards the plaza below.

"Alright," Aphmau nodded, removing her head away from the sight.

Laurance waited for her, at the middle of the hill. Just standing there, looking at her. The sun behind her making her look like an angel. Something seemed really familiar to him about it but he couldn't put his finger on it. It was on the tip of his tongue too.

Aphmau slowly walked down the hill, trying to keep as much of the view still in her sight. It was just so beautiful that she couldn't look away. She felt something tug on the end of her shoe but ignored it, started to continue to walk. She started falling forward, she had tripped on a root that was sticking out from the ground.

Laurance rushed to catch her, which felt slightly familiar. It seemed everything he did with Aphmau felt like that. Daja vu. Like he was just repeating what he's done before. But he's never met Aphmau, maybe it was with a different person?

Everything went fast, but soon enough Aphmau was in Laurance's arms. His face inches away from her's. Aphmau opened her eyes only to be met with his blue ones, but something felt different. She could've sworn his eyes were green when she first met him. Maybe it was someone different?

"Uh, sorry," Laurance apologized, helping Aphmau stand up straight. "I just didn't want you to get hurt. Besides helping people is what guards do. We should get going."

Aphmau just nodded and followed Laurance.

Like I said before the song has nothing to do with the chapter it was just the song that gave me the most inspiration. And I'll be doing this for the rest of the chapters.

Anyways bye
