"My panties?!" I gasped, "And my favorite ones too!"
I looked around to see something/someone rapidly passing by my door. I quickly grabbed my closed suitcase and threw it.
"Ow! What was that.." the person growled, "What the..?! A suitcase...?!"
I saw the face of the culprit when that person turned to see my suitcase.
It...It...It was...It was...
The person looked up and stared at me with a surprised look."...YATO?! WHAT THE?! WHY DO YOU HAVE MY PANTIES AT YOUR HAND, YOU PERVERT?!" I shouted. My face was full of embarrassment of what he's holding.
He looked at my panties he held, then at me. "T-Tori--! I-I- I can explain--"
"STOP STEALING MY STUFF, YOU PERVERT!" I shouted as I threw a book nearest to me.
He avoided it, but I punched him, just in case. "T-Tori! Why do you have to punch me?!" He complained, rubbing the side of his face, "..and throwing a book me?! What is this..?"
He picked up the book and read the title. My eyes widened when I saw the back cover.
"OMG! Give it back!!" I screamed in attempt to take it, but it was too late.
He laughed, "You read romance novels?! I never knew you were such a bookworm, Tough Girl." I gritted my teeth, "D-Don't call me that, you pervert!""Who would've thought a Tough Girl like you read this kind of stuff~" He continued to tease me.
"Well I'm a girl so I can do whatever I want!" I protested, "G-Give it back..!"
I tried to reach for it but he raised it higher so I can't reach it.
"Quite an interesting choice though. Gee~ I wonder why didn't you tell me about yourself?" He looked down on me with a playful smirk on his face.
I ignored him, as I was focusing the book.
Great first thing in the morning, and half of my secrets were exposed by this jerk..
I kept trying to reach it yet tiptoeing myself to get it. Unfortunately, he was taller than me, so I jumped higher and higher, but..
I focused on the book, until my eyes landed on a pair of blue ones. My head started to spin. I realized that I was staring at Yato's eyes. My heart started to beat fast. I felt as if the book didn't matter anymore.
"Tori-chan..." Yato said softly.
"Yato..." I whispered
He slowly leaned in, as I closed my eyes...
"K-KYAAAHHH!!!" We turned to see Hiyori, Yukine and my mom at the doorstep.
Yato jumped back, as I stared at him, confused.
He blushed as he explained everything to them. They smirked and looked at me as he finished.
"What just happened?" I asked, somehow snapped out of my daydream.
For some reason, my question made Yato blush even more."Hey Mom, have you finished packing?" I broke the silence, averting my gaze at Yato's, ignoring my loud heartbeat.
My mom blinked at first and said, "A-Almost. Can you help me, sweetie?"
"Alright..." I said.
After a few minutes, Hiyori whispered something to Yato and Yukine, then they left the room.
What was that about? Why did they make it a big deal?
Meanwhile while helping my Mom, I heard some shouting coming from my room. It sounded like Yato's been overreacting.
I shrugged it off as I zipped her last suitcase. "There." I looked at my Mom who was closing the cabinet, "I'm done, Mom."
"Thank you, Tori." Mom thanked me.
When we stepped out of the room, I almost let out a yelp when I heard Yato's cry.
"Oww! What the hell was that for, Yukine?!" Yato protested, holding the back of his neck.
"S-Sorry.." Yukine apologized.
I blinked in confusion while Hiyori giggled nervously from the background. I cleared my throat, cutting their little argument.
"I'll do the driving." I smirked, twirling my car keys with my index finger.
"Honey, you don't have to--"
"It's fine Mom, really." I told her in a reassuring tone.
"What if your Dad finds about this?" Mom asked, worried of the worst-case scenario.
That gave me goosebumps for a second. I thought about it for a moment. "I'm pretty sure he won't. I'll try to hide it somewhere else." I replied her without giving myself a stutter.
"..You know.." Yato steps into our conversation as we turned to him.
"You guys can teleport with us. That way, he won't even realize you guys are gone." He thought of a plan.
"But Yato, are you sure?" Hiyori asked in concern, "You'll be going back n forth to pick em up since there's a lot of us."
"Especially the bags.." Yukine added, pointing out the obvious.
"Well, it's better than to get spotted by your Dad, right?" Yato glanced at us.
I thought about the idea, "Well..."
"You could just leave the car in here sweetie. He won't even know it's a decoy." She chuckled. I hate to admit it but she's got a point there.
I gave in, looking at my Mom. I can tell she's secretly excited to see Kofuku again based on the enthusiasm tone of her voice.
Guess I can't let my Mom keep on waiting then.. And with that thought, I let out a sigh.
