Chapter One: Summer's over

You pronounce Caren as "Karen". 

Jacob's POV

Summer is over. Tomorow would be the first day of school. Tomorrow I will be a better person, I will change. I have the same plans every year but it just never works. I still get bullied, teased and mostly laughed at.

I have a huge crush on this girl named Caren. I have dreamt of winning her heart but we don't really talk and she never notices me. She is smart and beautiful. But she won't fall for me because she's a beauty and I'm just a geek.  I really really like her. This year I will win her heart!

*Next day*

I turned off my alarm clock and went to the shower,I did my usual morning routine. I wouldn't want to be late on the first day. 

 I got my clothes, a white shirt, blue jeans, and my black shoes. And my glasses. I fixed my hair. And put on some perfume I found. I went outside and waited for the bus. The the bus came, dust from the bus hit me. I cough, I was very ashmatic. I went inside the bus. I plopped down the on the seat at the very back.  I sat down almost everyone  in the bus  was laughing. They threw paper planes at me. Some even got in my hair, Then I saw Caren! She sat with Frannie, Sierra Mae, Riley and Helen. caren's hair was in a nice ponytail.

She was so beautiful. If only I could call her mine. When we got to school I looked at the schedules and my first class was with Caren! YES! When i went inside she was not really happy because all her friends were sitting together while she was alone reading a book.. The the teacher came in she made us do a project then the teacher called our names.

The teacher went on and on with the names.

When Caren heard it her mouth dropped in disbelief. After that we decided to work the project after school at the cafeteria. She was really nice this was the best day ever. She did some science talk but she imediately regretted it. Then the bell rang. 

Caren's POV

Jacob, he understands me unlike my friends. They don't really care about science or anything. But they are really good friends! I think I might sit with him at lunch so that we could discuss the project, but the thing is his my reputation might be ruined. What would my friends think? I might work with him at lunch because I am really concerned about my grades. So I tell Jacob that we should sit together. I exited the classroom and went to the cafeteria.

"Caren sit with us! " she gestures her hand, signalling me to go to their table.

"um how about tomorrow?" I ask nervously

"what why?" Sierra Mae exclaimed, making me nervous.

"I'm sitting with Jacob were gonna discuss the project"

"EW!" Helen squealed

"Jacob?!" Frannie asked disgusted

"Yeah..."I say quietly.

"whatever that's your choice caren" Riley said she shrugged, looking annoyed.

Anyway, Caren we'll see you later Helen said, not looking at me.

This wasn't really a good thing to do.
