Sans X Reader

The Door

You woke up around the same time you usually do to eavesdrop of Sans and Toriels conversations. You heard a door open and close. There were footsteps walking down the stairs. Your eyes adjusted to the darkness and you saw Sans walking by. He walked out of the house quietly.

You got up carefully to not wake up Melody. You snuck out of the house and followed Sans. Suddenly, Sans disappeared with blue smoke surrounding him. You sighed and ran to where the ruins were. Once you got there, you already saw Sans at the door talking. You hid behind a nearby tree.

"you know, that kid of yours is really something. she brought back my father from the void using her 'feelings'. i also found out that she is the daughter of my father's old human test subject." Sans explained.

"Oh, your father was W.D. Gaster?" Toriel asked.

"heh, yeah. you know him?" Sans said.

"Of course I know him. He used to work for me. I hate admitting this but I used to be married to Asgore." Toriel said.

"so you're the missing queen. heh, if you weren't my friend, i would go and tell the king where you are." Sans said jokingly.

"Haha! I'm glad that we are friends then. Hm, so your father was Gaster...Oh! Does that mean you were the little skeleton that always followed him around?" Toriel asked laughing.

"heh, i guess so." Sans replied.

"(y/n) is really a strange child." Toriel said.

"yes she is. speaking of which, (y/n), you can stop eavesdropping now!" Sans said looking over at the tree you were hiding behind. You sighed and walked over to the skeleton.

"How did you know I was there?" You asked.

"well, you have told me that you eavesdropped on us quite a bit. also, i could sense you over there." Sans said shrugging.

"Hello my child. You have been really busy in just one day, haven't you?" Toriel asked.

"Yeah. I don't know when my journey will continue though. Oh, mom! Melody got a little boyfriend." You said.

"And who might this lucky monster be?" Toriel giggled.

"my brother." Sans replied.

"Melody is dating Papyrus?" Toriel asked.

"Yep, and I can tell that she really likes him." you said.

"Well that's good. So (y/n), have you found anyone you like?" Toriel asked laughing.

"Not that I know of. But I do know a certain someone who might like me." You said smirking at Sans.

"i thought you weren't siding with my father! i don't have a crush on you!" Sans said. His cheekbones became bright blue.

"Oh come on Sans, you know I'm just messing with you." You said laughing. Sans looked away trying to hide his blue skull. Toriel laughed from the other side of the door.

"I think you two would be cute. It would make sense since both of your parents knew each other. Besides, Sans you practically already knew her for weeks. You can't really say that you just met her when I have told you about her. And seeing as how (y/n) has eavesdropped on us, she practically knew you for weeks too." Toriel explained. The blue of Sans's face grew darker.

"heh, s-sorry to cut this short but i'm getting tired. see ya." Sans said. He stood up and started walking back.

"Well, I guess I'll see you later Mom." You said.

"Goodbye my child." Toriel said as you turned to catch up to Sans.

(Sorry for the short chapter, I couldn't really think of all the different things for them to talk about. I'll try making the next chapter longer.)
