As we arrive to McDonald's, my phone starts to ring. It's Lauren. I pick the phone up and hold it to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Cassie, please come quick, it's an emergency."

"I told you, your waterproof makeup coming off with water is not an emergency, now I gotta go I'm bu-"

"NO! Honey is laying on the floor. He's freezing cold, and won't wake up!!!" We all know what that means.

"Oh my god! I'll be over in a jiffy." I hung up and ran outside.

"Where you going?" Jake asked.

"Dog dead. Be back soon. Hang in there."

I ran to my car and sped all the way home. Honey is my childhood pup, I hope he just went into a coma or something. Not that that's a good thing, but at least he'll be alive. Can dogs have comas? Let's hope.

I arrive home. I ran in the door to Honey. He's playing fetch with Lauren.

"Lauren?! You bitch what the hell?!"

"I know, the dog's fine." I sigh with relief.

"Why the hell did you call me??!"

"I need to show you something."

"Ugh, can it wait?"

"NO!" Well damn.

"Okay, what is it. I need to get back to my date!!"

"It's about Jake."

"What about him?"

"I don't think you should be dating him anymore."

"What the hell, why?"

"He's a bad influence."

"I know he sells drugs, but he does it to support his family."

"Bullshit. I looked his name up, he's been arrested three times."

"It is illegal, drug dealing."

"It was for smoking crystal meth."

"He LIED to me?!!!"

"I'm so sorry, Cass."

"It's okay, not your fault. Thank you for letting me know."

"You're my best friend. I had to tell you."

"Thanks."

"No problem. What will you do now?"
