Jeremy:
Jeremy stared at the dawn sky. The stars were blocked by the rain clouds, but the sun was about to rise in less than an hour. He breathed in the fresh cool air and exhaled.
He sat on the roof of the band room, taking in all the events of yesterday. Sometime over night, the rain stopped, but dark grey storm clouds still covered the land.
They lost a good friend yesterday. He sighed as he remembered the first time they met. It seemed like just yesterday, but in actuality, it was almost a year ago.
He smiled as he began to reminisce about the all the time he spent with Angel. He even began to reminisce about all his friends together.
Jeremy looked down from the roof, lots of those monsters wandered around, looking for their next meal. He felt a little safe knowing that none of those things could get him.
Jeremy sighed and looked across the way at the tops of all the other buildings. The school seemed so empty and sad. With no students, or even electricity here, it seemed terrifying.
He saw the river that ran through the school. What was filled with fresh water and fishes, was now littered with those... Things.
Jeremy sighed outwardly and got up. The sun was about to rise in a few minutes, and all night, Jeremy experimented on the monsters. They acted just like animals, with a human body. So they had limited vision in the dark, and lacked a sense of smell. However, it seemed that their hearing was amplified greatly.
Jeremy didn't know what made them turn this way, or where they came from. What he did know was that he had to protect those in the band room.

Jeremy climbed down the ladder and made his way into the percussion room, a room dedicated to the drums section of their band.
Last night, Jeremy couldn't sleep. His brain and heart were put into overdrive. So through the night he came in here. At first to sit down and relax, but then he began tinkering with a few things.
He relized that if one of those things managed to get in, he had to be protected. So he scanned the room for anything to protect him. The only thing he could find was a pair of marching cymbals.
He picked it up and examined one. It was mobile and could take a beating. He shook his head, How can this be used? It has no handle to use. He thought to himself.
He put the cymbal down and noticed a strap that was tied to it. It was mainly used to hold the cymbal from the outside... But what if...
He quickly deassembled it and placed the strap on the under side. He tied it tightly and gave his invention a good look. With his brain power, he managed to create a shield.
Jeremy laughed to himself, he found it ironic that he made a shield and just so happened to be wearing a Captain America jacket (Clearly his favorite superhero)
He tied the strap to his forearm and looked at himself in the mirror. It's missing something, he thought.
Jeremy walked to the kitchen and dug around the cabinets. He found a set of accrylic paints.
He smiled to himself and walked back to the percussion room.

He was almost done with painting his shield when the first person woke up.
Jeremy sat in the percussion room, painting his replica captain shield, when he heard the door slowly open. He turned his head and saw Zach looking at him.
