There was fire, smoke burning through his lungs and making it impossible to breathe. He fought for air, blindly searching for the stairs. Finding them, he began to stumble downstairs, the wood collapsing beneath his shoes as he fell.

Ciel woke in his Aunt's car as she hit a bump, yelping and drowsily looking around. Rubbing his eye, he yawned. Wait.... eye? As in singular? The other was covered by a piece of fabric. An eyepatch. He sunk down in his seat. It wasn't a dream. His parents. It wasn't a dream. His house.....

It wasn't a dream.

He realized his Aunt was pulling into a school, and panic began to set in. New school. New people. New teachers. New taunts. With a shudder, he pushed the door open, waving to his Aunt Red and slowly walked up to the large wooden doors.
