Veronica's POV

"Will someone tell me what happened?" Andy asked.

Espi began stuttering, as if she was just to disgusted by it to say it. I stepped up.

"Her dad used to beat her. He was a drunken ass hole and I hope he's dead now. Also, if you go all ape shit on her cause she didn't tell you, you'll have to deal with my foot being shoved up your ass!" I yelled.

"Classic, Veronica," Mikey said from a different room.

Espi laughed and wiped some tears away.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Andy asked.

"I was afraid and embarrassed," she said.

"First of all, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Second, why would you be afraid? You can tell me anything!" Andy said.

"I was afraid of what you'll think of me. I thought you wouldn't like me anymore and you would leave me," Espi said.

"He already did that...," I mumbled.

"Listen Espi, you could tell me that you aren't  virgin. You can tell me you're a criminal. You can tell me that you do drugs. But guess what? None of that would matter. Cause I love you," he said.

Espi looked at him with wide eyes.

"As a friend!" Andy shouted out while blushing.

Gerard turned to me. "Just to make sure...did any of this ever happen to you?" he asked.

My eyes went wide. "Uh....um...no! NO! NO! It didn't. I-I-I was very h-happy as a kid!" I stuttered.

Espi looked at me like, 'WTF!?'

I have to lie. Gerard will hate me for keeping it secret. And there's something else Espi doesn't know...

"You sure?" he asked.

"Haha. Yeppers!" I said. I could feel his hands all over me...

"C-can I talk to Espi? Alone?" I asked.

Gerard and Andy nodded while walking out.

"What is it?" she asked.

"Okay...so...you know how my adoptive parents hurt me too?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Well...there's something else I should have told you a LONG time ago," I said.

As I told her the story, her eyes widened.

"He...he....w-what....," she whispered, "I think I just heard that all in my head. Can you repeat that?" she asked.

"Espi, a few years ago, your father molested me."
