On the battlefield, a Blue and a Red stared at each other, surprisingly, with longing.
"What in Izla's name are you doing? That's the enemy!" roared the Reds' general from near to the center of the raging battle. A Blue tackled him, leaving the two to fight alone. The Red dragon stood up, but suddenly, a Blue slit her throat from behind.
"Atash!" cried the other Blue dragon that had been facing her.
"Take care... of... ou-our hatchlings..." whispered Atash, coughing; then her eyes were lifeless.
Flying speedily from the battlefield, Veil, the Blue dragon, headed for the forest; where he found that his two eggs had hatched into to healthy hatchlings. One was a Red, and the other a Blue.
"I will name you Atik," said Veil, pointing to the Blue hatchling. Then he turned to the Red. "And you... Dash."
I'm gonna bet you can't wait for Chapter One! And, by the way, I have a stuffed red dragon named Dash, and a blue one named Atik. I've had them since preschool, and I did stuff with them that inspired me to make this book. Or should I say book series? I don't know... Anyways, Goldsight is out!
Turtle: And so is Turtle!
NOT THIS AGAIN! *shoves Turtle off cliff*
Turtle: *is asleep* Weeeeeee!
