      -Your POV-

I toss and turn in my bed, doing my best not to wake Toriel. Once again, I'm finding that sleep is doing everything in its power to elude me. I tug my black gloves down, covering my unnatural hands. I play with a strand of my long, platinum hair. My (e/c) eyes flicker to neon pink for a moment.

Out of nowhere, a chill runs down my spine. I feel a pair of eyes burning into the back of my head. I tense up, praying that that the owner of those eyes leaves. And, as if they heard me, the mystery person quietly exits my bedroom. I sigh in relief. Toriel screams.

----------------------------------------------

I race down the hallway, not really caring about how much noise I'm making right now. A strong, metallic scent overpowers my senses as I draw closer to Toriel's room. I'm barely able to suppress the urge to vomit. I fling open Toriel's door, only to be met with a horrific sight.

Blood and dust covers almost every inch of her room. My (e/c) orbs, wide with horror, land on four strangely-dressed skeletons. One is soaked in blood, and another is covered in dust. My left eye flickers to that neon pink color once more, going unnoticed by the quartet of murderers. I whimper fearfully. All four of the skeletons' heads suddenly whirl in my direction. I gulp.

I take off down the hall, four pairs of footsteps signaling that my mother's killers are right on my tail. I run into my room and slam the door shut. I slide an over-stuffed trunk in front of the door. Just as I finish moving the trunk, something slams against the door. I jump back, startled. I walk back over to my bed and sit down on it. No matter how alert I try to be, knowing that the strangers will try to get inside, sleep eventually envelops me.

                   -Nobody's POV-

Gaster!Sans teleports into your room as soon as he hears your rapid, shallow breathing even out. He stares at your sleeping form. A hard knock on your door reminds the skeleton of the task at hand.

Using his magic, Gaster!Sans moves the heavy trunk, which is currently blocking your bedroom door, across the room. As soon as he moves the trunk, two of his brothers, Undertale!Sans and Underfell!Sans, walk into the room.

"Hey, where's Blue?" Gaster!Sans asks his younger brothers. "Dunno, G, but he probably went to explore the place." Gaster!Sans nods and turns his attention back to you. He sighs as he waits for you to wake up.

Underfell!Sans straddles your sleeping form. "Red, what're you doing?" Underfell!Sans grins wickedly. "When the brat wakes up, she'll get the shit scared out of her." Gaster!Sans shrugs and leans against one of your bedroom walls.

                  -Your POV-

I wake up to creepy, black eyes, with white pupils, mere inches from my face. On instinct, I punch the person who's straddling me. "Son of a bitch! That really hurt!" The small, plain desk lamp on my bedside table flickers to life, illuminating three out of the four of my mother's killers, who somehow found their way into my cozy little bedroom. The hairs on the back of my neck immediately stand on end.

I turn my attention to the skeleton sitting on the foot of my bed. He's wearing red-and-white sneakers, red basketball shorts with a yellow stripe on the outer side of each leg, a black coat with (hopefully) fake white fur lining the hood, and a red undershirt.

His teeth are razor-sharp, and one of them is made entirely of gold. His left eye is glowing a bright red, and his right eye is completely black, which I believe means that he's pretty mad about me socking him in the face just a moment ago.

The other two snicker at the one that I socked in the face. He glares at them. I can't help but giggle ever-so-slightly. My bedroom door creaks open, revealing a short skeleton in a round, light-gray chestplate, elbow-length blue gloves, a baby blue cape, black leggings, and a pair of blue boots with three baby blue buckles that reach where his knees should be. My eyes turn into saucers.

I leap to my feet, making the three others' left eyes glow purple, red, and blue. I dash across my room towards the short skeleton. The others prepare to kill me. I tackle the small skeleton and hug him tightly. Everyone's jaws drop.

"Um, what are you doing?" I look up to see the skeleton that's wearing pink bedroom slippers, blue basketball shorts with white stripes on the outside of each leg, a blue version of the heavy coat that the skeleton I hit is wearing, and a white undershirt, staring at me. I smile widely.

"He's just so cute that I had to hug him!" I exclaim, hugging the armor-wearing skeleton for a second time. He blushes crazily. "At least she likes one of us." I look over my shoulder to see the oldest-looking skeleton watching me.

A thin crack runs from the bottom of his left eye socket to his mouth, and a y-shaped crack runs from the top of his right eye socket over the top of his skull. He's wearing a black jacket with a hood outlined with more (hopefully) fake fur, with a white-outlined patch on the left shoulder. The patch looks like a combination of a dog skull and a dragon skull. He is also wearing dark blue jeans, a plain black belt with a silver buckle, and black combat boots.

I eye this particular brother (I assume that they're brothers because they look so much alike) suspiciously. Something is awfully familiar about this group, but I can't tell what it is. Truth be told, I can barely remember anything before last year.

You see, last... December, I believe, I was caught in a lab explosion at my original home, but, so far, that's all I've managed to remember. I simply shake off the weird feeling that I have and go back to hugging the adorable skeleton.

He smiles cutely and hugs me back. "Big bro?" An unbearable headache begins pounding against my skull. I release the skeleton before tightly gripping my hair tightly and gritting my teeth from the pain.

"Yeah, (y/n)?" The brothers circle me, the worried looks clear on their faces. "If I'm lost, you and all of the others- you'll find me, right?" The skeleton with the sharp gold tooth waves his bony hand in front of my face. "Of course we will, (y/n); we'll always find you, and we'll always bring you back home."

Stars dance across my vision, and everyone's voices begin to fade out. "Do you promise?" My eyes begin feeling extremely heavy. "I promise; I love you, (y/n)." A fuzzy memory flashes through my head. The memory is of bony fingers intertwining with mine. A black sleeve covers the rest of the mystery person's arm. A single tear runs down my cheek as darkness consumes me. "I love you, too, big bro."
