I walked down the hallway, the new kid of 3rd grade. Though by now I was so used to it I just expected it. Then I got to class sat down that day they finished their cursive unit in which I knew nothing about I couldn't even write my name in cursive so I walked in and following new school protocol I walked up to the teacher and said "Hi. My name is Huntyr, where would you like me to sit?" then she replied while pointing "Welcome, you can sit over there for now that'd be great." so I walked over to the seat and sat down looking around at my new classmates I saw one boy that was a lot taller than me he was pretty cute I said in my 8 year old head then there was this girl named McKayla she was pretty weird honestly seeing as how she was sitting there throwing pencils when I met her so I decided not to converse with any of them because well I just didn't fit in I never did then class went by and I ended up not having to take the test due to me not knowing and not being there and after class it was lunch so I gathered what little items I could and stood up that's when I realized I was a bit too early and everyone looked at me from then on I waited until everyone got up and left the room before I even stood up, then I was sitting in disbelief that I had embarrassed myself that bad on my first day my head was hanging down as I heard "hi! Im Traci, what's your name?" as I was thinking this was a attempt of bullying I didn't want to reply but out of niceness I did "Huntyr." I said as I lifted my head to see what I didn't know at the time to be my best friend in only a few short weeks, from then on me and Traci talked about a lot of stuff and we could easily relate with me as I could with her and it was great. I at the time wasnt her best friend due to there being someone named Olivia in the picture but that was soon to change, our lives were soon to change very drastically.
