I

Strange. It's never rained on this planet before. It felt familiar pitter patter of rain drops on my face, the sound of the cars speeding by, their tyres squeaking on the wet Tarmac. I adjusted my grip on the cold metal railing and peered further over the edge of the bridge. The light wind pushing my tight blue-black curls over my eyes, I stared into the dark abyss below me; space.
Some say if you jump into said abyss you'll find new beginnings.
Some say you'll simply perish.
Some just keep quiet and accept that no one really knows what lies in the abyss, you could probably say I'm one of those queer people, you could say I have my own opinion; neither me nor atone who tried could answer that...
My feet were lodged in between the narrow gaps of the long metal poles of which seemed to have an unhappy aura about them, I couldn't blame them they're stuck doing the same job for eternity; or until they're not needed anymore, you could say that's how I felt; you could say that's how many people feel at some point in their life.
Until a miracle comes along.

My miracle was Nevaeh.
