Clarke's Pov

We were heading to the park I ran in every Sunday.

"Hey I know it there! I run here on weekends, or every other day, depends on the time on my hands. Where are we going?" She smiled slightly.

"My apartment. It's right there." She pointed to a fancy building on our right.

"What are the odds, I've been passing you by all this time." I chuckled and she blushed, sparking my curiosity. "What is it?"

"Nothing" She mumbled. We were waiting for the little man to turn green and as always in New-York, there were people everywhere.

"Come one Lexa! You're face is telling an entirely different story." She took out her keys and entered the building, not answering causing me to roll my eyes.

"Ms Keryon, back so soon! All your groceries have been delivered in your apartment already." An handsome young man told her. His badge read 'Miller'. As he turn to me his demeanor changed slightly and he gave me a warm smile.

"Evening Ms..."

"Clarke, just call me Clarke please." His smile widened.

"It's a pleasure meeting you Clarke." I hated when people were over polite with me because of my money but he seemed to be a genuinely nice guy. Anyway I guess if I knew the problem I shouldn't be one to complain. I gave him a warm smile.

"It's my pleasure as well Miller." I saw Lexa narrowing her eyes at us. She was jealous. I chuckle as I he grinned at me, oblivious to Lexa's jealousy.

"Well I hope you'll have a nice evening." I gave him a small smile and then turned to Lexa.

"Lex?" I extended my hand to her and she gladly took it, a full grin on her lips.

"Night Miller!" She brought me in front of the elevators causing me to slow down.

"Can we take the stairs please?" She nodded not asking questions, which I was thankful for.

As we reached the fourth floor, she took me to a red door.

"Before you enter, just know it is rather empty but I'm still settling in." She seemed a bit nervous which made me laugh.

"Okay, let's go in then." She opened the door and stepped aside, letting me in. The door opened directly to a huge living room. There was a very long bookshelf that made the angle of the room, in the middle of which was a flat screen which was facing the L cut leather couch in the middle of the room. There were other shelves here and there with pop figures and legos on them and on the right were the kitchen which had a huge island, ten people could be seated or so around it. It was a real open space. I was about to express my awe when I was attacked by the most adorable Shiba Inu I've ever seen.

"Aw dogs are my weakness." I sat down on the floor, cuddling with the dog. "And I love your living room, this is like my dream place. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to steal it from you." She gave me a mock pout.

"But I just moved in." I got up and moved toward her. She backed away until her back hit the now closed door, in faked fear. "You can't do that." I loved this playful side of Lexa so I played along. I moved closer to her until our bodies were pressed against each other, our nose touching.

"But I'm a nice person." I said deviously. She took a sharp intake of breath and I smirked. "I'll let you sleep in here for a while." I leaned in as to whisper in her ear. "In my bed even." I pecked her lips before turning to her dog. "And this cutie pie of course! What's its name?" He barked as if he was answering me.
