Just Being Me

Chapter One

                  It was our first day at West Meadow High. There were a lot of people there that we actually got separated in the crowd. Then before I even knew it I was falling. " Ahh !", I felt someone catch me. I opened my eyes slowly. To find a cute guy in front of me, holding me in his arms. I started to turn red, I realized that I was actually blushing instead. " Hi." " Hi ", I say back to him. " My name is Ruvel." " Oh um m-my name is Sapphire. " He lifted me up to make sure that I was okay. " Thank you for saving me from falling. " " No problem ",he said. I looked down at my watch. " Sorry. I have to go
".  But before I was just about to leave he suddenly grads my hand, I turned around towards him. " Wait. Will I see you again? " " Maybe. I don't know but I have to go ". He lets go as I run towards my friends.

             As soon as I found them, they were smiling funny. " What is the matter with you guys faces ? " " Eeeeeee!", I covered my ears quick as soon as they stopped screaming like a bunch of banshees.  I uncovered my ears. "What are you guys screaming about?" They looked around at each other and said " A cute guy caught you in his arms duh!", and they screamed again. " Would you guys stop screaming like that! "

                " Okay, okay so he caught me in his arms and why is that a big deal? " " Our girl's got her first crush ," said Ruby. My friends had crowded around me asking, " So what's his name? What's his name?! " " Okay you don't have to scream it. Its Ruvel , it's not a big deal! " , I keep warning them.

        " Come on ,we have to go or we'll be late!, " yelled Amethyst. We looked at the time on our watches, we started running. Onyx had the map of the school, we made it to class on time. As our first teacher, Ms.Berett, started the assignment, someone passed me a note that had my name on it. I whispered to myself, " Who is this from? ", I looked around and saw Ruvel waving, telling me to read the note. It said ( Do you want to have lunch with me ?), I turned around, noded and whispered" yes " to him, he noded back. After our classes were over it was time for lunch. My friends asked ," What did the not say and who was it from? " " All it said - and I quote - Do you want to have lunch with me. From Ruvel." " Ooooo! ", they said. " Bye girls, I got to go see him." " Go ahead Sapphire. Get that Prince Charming", Rudy teased
Then I left my best friends meet Ruvel.

            I went outside to see him , we had talked here and a little there. It was fun , but the bell ruined it. It was time to head back to our classes. Mrs. Jackson was starting the assignment. Science. " Today we're going to do blood samples. " She called one of our classmates, she told him to hold out his index finger. As she pricked his figure I smelled the sour and salty blood. My pupils got bigger. I got up, ranned out the classroom and though the school's doors. I ranned far away from the school that I possibly can.
