A man and child stared at the wanted posters before the man ripped them down.
One held a man with a black hat, and a black mask that covered his face from the nose down.
The other held an image of an eight year old girl with bright purple eyes and bright blue hair.
The man bent down to the small child's height and said in a gruff voice," There is nothing wrong with you. You are not a murderer. You save more lives than you think. Okay?"
The small child put her head down and with a whimper she replied, "Yes Mr. Van Helsing." As soon as the words left her mouth a loud cackling laugh echoed threw the small town in Paris.
"Let's go Ecco, we have a person to talk to." Van Helsing and Ecco looked to the church to see a very large man climb and jump up it.
(Scene change)
Van Helsing walked into the attic with Ecco attached to his back. The small child whimpered in pain as she did when ever a 'monster' was close to her. She knew what was going to happen even before it did. She felt their pain.
Van Helsing shushed the child and told her to hide. The child let go of Van Helsing and ran out the door and hid on the roof.
ECCO POV~
The big man came charging threw the roof top of the church and it scared me. I jumped with fright and almost fell to my death. He whipped Mr. Van Helsing off the side of the building, but I knew he would be okay. He wasn't the one with the death sentence tonight.I ran to the center of the church to wait for Mr. Van Helsing. I jump up with fright at the yell,"Van Helsing! You Murderer!" I hid behind the statue of Jesus on the cross so he could protect me. I waited for the signal for safety from Mr. Van Helsing. Two knocks a voice being cleared then a clap later, I jumped into the arms of my best friend Mr. Van Helsing with tears running down my face.
He rubbed my back as we rode horse back to our home.
