Chapter 8

Kevin's POV

"Uhm, excuse me did you see Julie, Julie McDonough?", I asked to some of her classmates. I honestly don't know where she is. " No, sorry".

I just sighed and go to my locker to get my things there.

Maybe she's with Louis

Louis' POV

You are so beautiful to me...

I stared at her. I JUST stare at her. I don't want to ruin this moment. The light outside perfectly shining trough her perfect face.

I noticed she's looking at the sky as it starts to rain. Oh shit, I remember she still have class.

I can't call her out. That will change her expression now. I have a better idea.

I put both my hand above hers and squeeze it gently. Awww soft hands! "Are you okay?".

" Yes, yes I am", she answered. "I hate to say, but you still have class".

Her eyes suddenly grew wide. She look at me then to her watch." I'll be late Lou".

"Let's go then!", I chuckled. I want this to happen again.

The ride in my car was quiet. She's constantly looking on her phone.

Julie's POV

I'll be late. And the fact that it's raining will make harder for me to get back. Good thing Louis brought his car.

Well, it's quiet on our way there. I kept on fumbling on my phone.

" Hey Julie, it's okay. We'll make it on time", Louis said as he touched my hand. I look at him, he's not looking at me, but he's concentrating on the road instead.

My cheeks start to heat up. I try to cover it by my hair. The car halt when the stop light signals red.

He then extend his left arm and tucked the loose hair in me. "I can't see those cheeks".

"Shut up Louis", I nudged him.
"Uhm Julie, can you come with me to our flat this Friday?".

"Why?", I replied giving him a smile.

"Me and the boys are having some, let's call it a slumber party", he blurted out. I guffaw when I heard the word 'slumber'. "You really call it slumber?".

"What's wrong with that?", Louis said defensively, waving his right hand at me.

"Nothing, can Kevin come with me?"

"Sure it'll be fun. And I want him to sing more. He has a talent.", he said as he look in the mirror meeting his eyes. Those deep blue orbs. " And you too".

"Okay", was all I said.

Thank goodness I'm not late. The class ended early. I joined Kevin in the corridor on our way outside the building.

"Hey where have you been on your first period?", Kevin asked.

That moment in the coffee shop popped inside my head. The laughter, the awkwardness, and that 'moment' when he touch my hands.

My thoughts was cut when Kevin suddenly appear. I blinked my eyes several times. " Sorry if I zoned out a bit".

"Zoned out a bit, huh?", he scoffed. " You totally zoned out there. Now tell me where have you been?".

"I was with Louis and, and we went to a coffee shop, s'all", I blurted out. Oops, I didn't saw that coming.

Kevin stop in his track. He clutched his shirt and dramatically fake cried, "oh Julie!".

We reached our home. It was a tiring day. Finally the rain had stopped.

I forgot to tell Kevin about the boys' plan. I went upstairs to his room. I knocked in his door. I didn't notice that it's not fully close that it swung open.

"You're hands against my chest
You're lips press in my neck..."

The calming music playing on his speaker filled his, I can't believe it, but it's clean, room.

The books are organised so does his things. As I was about to sit on his bed he came out of the bathroom wearing a pajama and a striped tee.

"Oh, hey Julie what's up?", he asked as he put a beanie on his now messy hair. He always do that when he's at home. He won't bother himself fixing his hair.

I finally plopped down on his comfy bed hugging one of his pillows. "Louis asked me if we can go in their flat this Friday".

" What for?", he sat in a chair facing me. "Their having a, uhm, a night bonding. Would you come?".

" Sure, I think it will be fun!".

"... I'm falling for your eyes, but            they don't know me yet
And then this feeling I forget..."

The Ed Sheeran song continue to play.

"I'm in love now".

I closed my eyes and lay down. I try to listen to the very lyrics of the song. I noticed that Kevin adjusted the volumed up, causing it to bounced all over the room.

" Enjoying the music, eh?", he asked fixing some of his books in order.

"It's beautiful. What's the tittle of it?", I stood up from my position sitting on the edge of the bed.

" Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran", he answered lazily.

"Thanks", I gave a sincere smile before I went out of his room.

"Anytime".

Kiss me like you wanna be loved...
...this feels like I'm falling in love.
