| Chapter 9: Confusion |

Date: April 12th, 1930
Time: 5:48 pm

Natalie's POV
    Dante had a wonderful idea on how to catch the dragon. It seems that she would run away every time we try to fight her, so this time... We're going to make her come to us! The plan was to draw in the dragon like usual, but this time Dante will 'accidentally' step on my tail. Which will cause me to beat him up. Then the Dragon will come running to the rescue, and BAM! One captured Dragon.

    We found her in an empty alley way, which was quite unusual for her normal routine. We both jumped down and faced her. "Look. All I want is a peaceful life. I don't know who you are or what you want, but I'm happy here... So would you kindly please leave?" She bowed peacefully. "Sorry, but that's not going to happen." I say. She visibly paled, "Fine..." And with that she tried to dash away. Yet, Dante 'Stepped' on my tail, making me meow in 'pain'. So I threw him a deadly glare, and starting attacking him. This caused the dragon to turn with high concern. "Hey! Stop that!" She started to dash at us at a higher speed than when she's trying to run away. In a few seconds, she's helping him up. So I simply snatched her up and knocked her out.

    "That was unbelievably simple..." Dante, my love states. "Either she doesn't care for her wellbeing, or she's just dumb..." I say. "Maybe it's the latter?" He shrugs. Picking her up over his shoulder, we start to make our way to Italy. Maybe something interesting will ensue.

Location: Streets of Italy
Date: April 12th, 1930
Time: 4:24 pm

David's POV
I began to storm through the streets, I was unsure what type of threat we were facing, but I was ready for it. I cocked my gun and bust through the door. Inside was a suspicious looking butler who glared at my every movement, and a girl with a green hood covering her head. I could see my boys tied up and knocked out in a huge pile towards the back of the room. "So, we meet again. Mr. Frazer." Her voice was somewhat cold as she spoke, it reminded me of the time Morgan left me. My heart began to sink, but my soul was on fire. Who are these people? How do they know me? How could they down my boys without a single bullet wound? I began to grind my teeth. "Who the hell are you?" I pointed my gun. As I raised my hand a single shot hit my hand. Blood began to ooze from the wound, but my grip was steady.

"If you think one shot will stop me from holding my fucking baby, you're wrong." I smiled menacingly. "Oh how impressive." The girl seemed impressed. How odd, even with a gun pointing directly at her, she can be impressed by a single thing her enemy does. "I guess it's time for me to face reality here." She took off her hood ever so slowly. "My name... Is Lily Vargas. The last of the bunny kindle kind, and the person who escaped the Vargas family murder." Her eyes were gleaming with determination as she spoke. I lowered my weapons and dropped to my knees. When she removed her hood, two fuzzy soft bunny ears popped out. "A bunny kindle... How?! May heaven be damned, a secret child? One born of Vargas blood!" Thoughts raced through my head, the one main thing was: Morgan! I need to tell her, to let her know! To make it up to her! Hopefully those two have her in custody by now. I'd die happy if I could finally see her again and show her that, yes, there is indeed one last bunny kindle. "I do not care if you murder me out of mere frustration or misunderstanding like I once did to you and your family. Just... please. Tell Morgan I saved one for you." I started laughing maniacally as I held out my gun for her to grab. "You're hands better be clean. That's my baby... Morgan gave it to me." I smiled at the floor, accepting whatever were to happen next. "You act as if you did not know of my existence. Tell me, was it really you who sent murderers at my doorstep?" I gave her the 'Wtf' face. "Uh what the fuck are you talking about? Aren't you here to kill me for revenge?" "It's as I thought." The girl looked at her butler and he nodded. "We've been informed that it was you, Sir David, that sent people to kill Miss Lily for her family fortune."

"Like hell I would! If I had even known of her existence I would have protected her for all the trouble I caused her family. Who the fuck told you this rubbish?" My nerves were bursting through the skin. 'Who the hell has the decency to frame me?!' I thought. "Why we were hoping you'd tell us about him. His name is, Kian Mason." My head pounded against my skull. "KIAN?" I could not believe what was coming out of my ears. "That damned flea bastard. I'll beat the shit out of him when I find him!" The two stared at me. "If you want info on him, I'm sorry to say I don't have any. He's the type of guy that doesn't let his clients know anything about him. It's just the way he works." I said. The two looked disappointed. "Well we will be taking our leave then, Mr. Frazer." They started to walk out. "Hey! Look at what the cat dragged in! Ahu-hu! Quite literally!" It was the voice of my little sister, Natalie. She had a brown sack and flopped it on the ground. Lily and her butler were silent as they watched Dante and Natalie enter. "Eh? Who are these two Onii-san?" Natalie tilted her head. "More importantly... why is your place so trashed up." Dante glanced over at the pile of people tied up in the corner.

Location: David's Workplace
Date: April 12th, 1930
Time: 8:24 pm

Lily's POV
    "No worries guys, they're with me. More importantly, it seems that you've brought what I asked." Frazer looked like he had a hard time speaking. The sack that the cat kindle had thrown down started to roll over. It suddenly got up and started to attempt to hop away. It went two steps before the cat kindle tripped it and it fell back onto the ground. "I'm Natalie by the way and this is my boyfriend Dante." She smiled. "I'm Lily and this is my butler Leo." I replied. "EH?! Butler? I thought he looked more like your boyfriend. Am I wrong?" She snickered. I began to blush. "U-uh your sack is trying to run away again."I pointed behind her. The sack punched a hole for two legs to fit through and desperately attempted to run away. David tugged the sack to him and gave it a big bear hug. The room went silent. "Can you please not touch me? There could be germs and dust particles on you." The voice inside was a light and sweet voice. "...Morgan." David mumbled.
