This is a sample that I have decided to write for my cousin since her ub is Chanyeol. I hope you like it!
"I'll be waiting outside when the bell rings." Chanyeol removes his hand that was resting on your shoulder and kisses you on the forehead. You never fail to blush whenever he does this to you and just like the usual, your friends were by the door to watch you and your boyfriend interact. You cheerfully waved at him and he waved back while slowly disappearing into the next classroom. Your friends sighed in misery. They have always envied you and Chanyeol and have always said that you looked cute together. You sighed along with them. Did he really forget about it? You frowned at the thought. It was your 2nd anniversary that very day and him forgetting about it would be the worst thing that has ever happened to you.
"What's wrong?" Your friends seemed to have notice the frown on your face and asked.
"I think he f-forgot about today..." You muttered, biting back your tears. It took a lot of strength to hold your tears back but you managed to do so. The smiles on your friends' faces were suddenly replaced with frowns and looks of concern.
"Maybe he's just a little stressed out about the projects and exams that he forgot." One of your friends suggested, trying to ease the tension. You nodded, thinking that what she said might actually be true. You sat down on your seat and just decided to forget about your worries.
Your 4th period teacher didn't come to class so it was a free period for you all. Instead of eating your lunch early, you just sulked on your seat. The thought of Chanyeol actually forgetting about your anniversary ruined your mood. You were surprised when one of your classmates, Seungyoon, sat on the chair beside you. "Hey. Is something wrong? You don't look okay." He started, sipping from the juice box in his hand while handing you one as well. You hesitantly looked at him before he gave you an encouraging nod and you grabbed the juice box from him.
You told him all about the things worrying you and he offered you countless advice which you were very thankful for. You were too preoccupied listening to him that you didn't notice that Chanyeol was waiting for you, until he decided to go inside the classroom. "I've been waiting for you for 20 minutes and you were just inside your classroom, talking to this guy the whole time?" His voice roared across the room and you turned your head to his direction, not minding his angry tone.
"So what? I was asking for advice. And at least I'm not someone who easily forgets about an important occasion." You snapped at him, mirroring the anger on his face. His face twisted into confusion, giving you an angry questioning look.
"Forget about what? You know I'm not one to forget things that easy." He defended with the same angry tone. You felt your breath hitch when you heard what he said. You couldn't believe that he actually forgot about it. You ran away from him as tears streamed from your eyes. You ran to the place where you always thought about all your problems and the solutions to them, the rooftop. You felt your body shake horribly as you cried. You didn't care about anything anymore. You just wanted to cry it all out. You didn't even take a glance when you heard footsteps nearing you.
"Anae, I didn't really forget about it. I feel like a bad boyfriend for making you cry like this. I'm sorry." You heard his familiar voice and felt his arms caressing your back. He lifted you chin up, your eyes meeting his, and he gently wiped your tears away with his hands. He sat beside you and cradled you in his arms, whispering comforting words to you and planting kisses on your head. He assisted you in standing up and opened the door to call someone. You were surprised to see that it was his friends, EXO. They had balloons, flowers, a cake and a banner saying "Happy 2nd Anniversary, my anae. I love you so much!" You laughed inwardly because it was clearly written in his handwriting. Seeing his surprise tugged at your heart and you couldn't help but jump up to hug him. EXO excused themselves out, seeing that you two might want to have some time to yourselves, but leaving everything on the table at the rooftop.
"Happy 2nd anniversary, anae." He greeted you with a wide smile on his face. You blushed and returned the smile. He got something from the table and you realized that it was your favorite food. "Anyway, I'll admit that I was really jealous with that guy you talked to earlier. Seungyoon?" He confessed with all the honesty he could muster. You snickered and messed his hair.
"And I admit that I was really upset when I thought you forgot." You shook your head disapprovingly and crossed your hands on your chest. You were taken aback when he lifted your chin up and leaned in to kiss your lips. You felt him smile through the kiss.
"I love you." He whispered through the kiss before breaking it and opening the food for you. You silently sat in front of him, a small smile playing on your lips.
