This will be the last update until Update Day (which happens to be May 15, so only 1 more week to go). This is also the end of the chapter, so I figured I'd post it so that I can have a brand new chapter to post on update day. :)

Jordan:

After receiving a map with directions to our new living quarters, Shawn and I headed there to put our shit down so that we could go see Ely. Shawn led the way, muttering to himself as we got closer to our destination. We were located on the very edge of campus. The buildings all looked forgotten and run down, but the building we were headed for seemed worse than the rest.

The one level brick building looked more like a motel. There were multiple doors on the front of the building we stopped at. Vines crept up the sides of the building and the way some of them twisted into the building, I was afraid our living quarters wouldn't be much better than living outside. Shawn looked at the gray door and sighed, "This place is a hellhole."

"No shit, dude. Let's just drop our shit off and get out of here." I replied as he shoved the key card into the slot on the door. He pushed on the handle at the same time and the door swung inward. I stepped into the... "Fuck. We're all supposed to share one room? I suppose we'll be sharing one bathroom as well."

Shawn dropped the bags he held onto the floor, "We'll get to move back into our apartment once it's fixed up. Unfortunately, that could take a couple of weeks."

At least there weren't any vines growing on the inside that I could see. "Hey, Shawn?"

He glanced over at me as he moved to the bathroom, "hmm?"

"Did we get Ely's bag?"

Shawn shook his head, "No. I looked for it briefly in the debris, but I couldn't find it. I figure, we have enough to give her some shopping money. She's a girl. She's bound to love the chance to buy new clothes, right?"

I snorted, "Not likely. Have you met her?"

Shawn ran his fingers through his hair and grimaced at the bathroom, "I was trying to be positive about this whole thing."

A beeping rang through the air and we both pulled out our phones to check the message we'd just received from Dominic. 911. This day was all sorts of fucked. Shawn pushed past me, and I stumbled into the dresser, but I didn't really care. We both raced out the door and towards the med building.
