Callie's POV:

I wake up with an overwhelming urge to throw up. I run to the bathroom and kneel in front of the toilet. This started yesterday and I don't know what is wrong with me. I don't know it's probably just the flu. I probably shouldn't go over to the Foster's house today, but Brandon would be mad if I didn't and he's already jealous of Ty, so I kind of have to go. I just won't kiss him and hopefully I don't get anyone else sick.

I quickly get dressed in a long sleeved denim shirt, a floral skirt, and black combat boots. I roll the sleeves up to my elbows, put my hair into a knot bun, and brush my teeth. After slipping on some bracelets to hide the scars, I grab the purse that Helen bought me and head downstairs.

"Morning Callie!" Helen exclaims as I walk into the kitchen.

"Morning Helen. Morning Ty." I sit down across from Ty and lay my head on the table.

Ty chuckles. "If I didn't know you fell asleep right after Brandon and Jude left, I would think you were hung over."

"I just don't feel well. I'm not hung over." I say.

"I know you're not. I was saying-" he says with his hands up in surrender, but I cut him off.

"I know what you were saying. Just please be quiet for five minutes, you talk a lot."

"Okay... Sorry." He says and then he's quiet for the rest of breakfast. After breakfast he goes into the living room and plops down on the couch.

"Don't you have to go to school?" I ask him. It's Thursday not Saturday.

"Yes, but I thought I'd stay home and spend the day with you. Mom has somewhere to go and I didn't want you to have to be here by yourself." He says as he flips through the channels on the tv.

"I'm going to see my brother today. You can come with if you want."

"Great! Wanna leave now?" He asks. Why is he so excited to see Brandon when they were at each others' throats yesterday? I don't have time to think about this right now.

"Sure." We head out to his car and I get in the passenger's seat. I give him the address and we pull into the driveway a couple of minutes later.

I knock on the door and it swings open revealing Mariana. Her eyes widen and a huge smile breaks out across her face. "Callie!" She yells. Then she hugs me so tight that I can barely breath. "I know you've only been gone for a couple of days, but I've missed you and my room has felt completely empty since you left."

I laugh. "I missed you too Mariana. Where is everyone?"

"In the kitchen eating breakfast." She says. Then she releases me and sees Ty. "And who is this?" She asks. Is she checking Ty out? I hope not because he's two years older than me and which makes him three years older than her. Plus this would just be really weird. Oh my God Callie, think straight.

"Mariana this is my new foster brother, Ty. Ty this is my sister Mariana."

"Sister? I thought Jude was your only sibling," he asks confused.

Mariana and I smile at each other. "She's my sister for all intensive purposes, but you're right we're not biological sisters," Mariana corrects. "Now. Don't act like a stranger, get your butts in here!"

We walk into the kitchen and Stef and Lena jump up from their seats. "Callie!" They yell.

After a mommy sandwich they see Ty. "And who is this?" Stef asks.

"This is Ty, my new foster brother. Ty this is Stef, Lena, Jesus, and you've already met Brandon, Jude and Mariana."

"Ty feel free to hang with my brothers, but I'm going to steal Callie for a little bit so... Yeah." Mariana says before running up the stairs dragging me with her.
