Nightmare on somerset

Me(POV)

It was October 31st my favorite holiday. I got ready I went to my friend Mariahs house and we went tricker treating we walked down this dark misty block and stepped on the step it creaked a little ringing the doorbell over and over so then we stepped off the porch and started walking out the gate and we heard the door opening loudly ,the sound of the door sounded really rusty. So we stepped back on the step and I yelled in the house "is anyone there ?" Nobody answered we walked in the house because we were curious we heard a loud bang it sounded like something fell upstairs we were frightened and tried to run out but as soon as the we got to the door it slammed loudly,we tried to open it but it was close it felt like it was jammed. So basically we were stuck in there I didn't know what to do at all! I pulled my phone out and tried to call someone but I had no service bars almost like someone had a cell phone restricter in the house! we heard foot

steps upstairs .

Mariah (POV)

I didn't know what to do my heart was racing faster than a race car and I even felt it skip a beat! Malik insisted on going upstairs so we started to walk upstairs,the stairs made a funny noise when we stepped on each one. When we got upstairs we found a candle and matches I lit the candle and we walked around scareder than ever i never had been as scared as i was. We heard a loud annoying screech behind us and something running behind us we turned back quick. There was nothing there at all. Something ran right infront and took the candle so it was pitch dark! That moment we knew something was in the house that was abnormal

Me (POV)

Me and mariah ran we didnt know where to go it was pitch dark.something jumped on me i dont know what it was it looked like a girl/canibal it was trying its best to get its fangs on me but I couldnt stay still.I heard mariah screaming then Mariah came behind it ,whatever it was and knocked it in the head with a glass bottle "glass shattered everywhere." The thing ran and screeched and magically disappeared we saw an open window so we climbed out and it led us to the roof of the house. I climbed down the house and I was in the front yard then mariah climbed down she slipped and she was falling in thin air. I saw her falling and I caught her and she was so happy we made it out the house alive as soon as we got out we both kissed the ground.I walked Mariah home and walked home and I walked inside and saw my mom cooking dinner. She said "sweety why don't you have any candy" and i said "we got tired of walking around" we all know I couldn't tell her that there's some wild thing running around town eating human flesh, she wouldn't believe me at all she will think I'm crazy.
