This is my second Malec one shot, as I said previously all the characters belong to the amazing Cassandra Clare, but the plot is completely mine.

"Maaagnus" Alec whined stretching his lovers name, "C'mon Alexander, just try it on" Magnus insisted. They had been in the shop for the past half an hour, since Magnus insisted on going to look for a new sweater for Alec, even though he got used to Alec always wearing washed off and with holes filled clothes, this sweater he has on at the moment, it has gotten way over the line of even being called clothes.
"I already tried to many, just take one I don't care which one, just keep it black" Alec retorted brushing some of his hair out of his face. Magnus grimaced and sighed afterwords, defeated. He grabbed one simple black and big sweater, loose enough to let Alec move freely so it won't disturb him while doing his job.
"Ok done, lets go" Magnus said handing the shopping bag to Alec after paying and interlocked their fingers, as they walked out of the store, some mundanes giving weird looks at Alec because of his runes, Alec has grown used to mundanes seeing him, well it's not like Magnus gave him much of a choice either, like on their first date, he will not be seen walking around alone and talking with the air.
"It's gotten quite chilly" Alec noted. He stopped walking, letting go of Magnus's hand and let the shopping bag on the ground, before undressing the old jumper, throwing it in the garbage and dressed the new one. And soon enough he interlocked his fingers with his lovers once again. Magnus stared at him sideways, a small smile forming at the corners of his lips, as he watched his boyfriend with his face on high alert, his blue eyes looking from one corner to the other. Alec was never relaxed when they were away from the safety of their home, he always had his guard up, ready to take care of any threat that will come.
As they kept walking they both noticed a big, ugly looking creature, ripping a humans body apart, a few feet away from them. Alec snatched his hand away from Magnus's in record time, "Stay here" he commanded, taking his bow and arrow not giving another glance back, as his shadowhunter mode turned on, and all he saw was the demon, he shot at the demon an arrow and as that arrow was flying he was already reaching behind for another one, while slowly walking towards it.
The demon threw the human parts on the ground turning towards Alec, letting out a loud scream. Arrow after arrow hit him, but they did nothing. Soon the demon was infront of Alec, and Alec had a seraf blade in hand instead of the bow. Magnus was about to walk towards them to help his boyfriend when an even bigger demon closed his way, Magnus's cat eyes glared at the demon, blue sparks blowing from his hands. Alec looked for a second behind to see what was happening and already started running towards his lover, ready to protect him, leaving the other demon behind.
"Magnus!" He yelled throwing himself infront of the greater demon and Magnus, receving the impact of the demons attack to his rib, he winced but kept in place, showing Magnus back with such force it knocked Magnus off of his feet and he fell to the ground. Alec took another blade out of his belt, looking from the demon infront of him to the other one that was approaching from the side, there was no way he can battle both demons at once.
Magnus quickly jumped onto his feet, blue spark erupting from his fingertips, he made a magic protecting shield around Alec, that would protect him from the poisonous attacks and slow the force of the attacks. With his other hand he threw a magic blue wave, Into the other greater demon, slowing him down, but he managed to get the attention of that demon away from Alec and onto himself. The demon made his way to Magnus, he cursed under his breath, to fight that demon he would need all his magic, but the shield around Alec was taking some of his magic away. The demon was now standing in front of him and he opened his mouth and spat a green poisonous liquid. Magnus blocked it and sent it flying towards the other demon making him scream in pain, Alec took advantage of the situation and stabbed the demon in the middle of its chest cutting it open with the seraf blade, the demon made a weird sound turning into black ash, Alec sighed in relief breathing hard, with the cut on his rib still open and blood pouring out of it.
