Callie rolled over, the tips of her fingers grazing against the stubble on the side of Brandon's cheek. Softly moaning, Brandon smiled, his eyes still closed, as he reached for Callie's arm pulling her closer to him. Resting his hand on the small of Callie's back, Callie slowly lifted her head from the nook of Brandon's arm, softly pressing her lips to his.
Brandon smiled, opening his never changing green eyes, and rolled on top of Callie.
" Well good morning to you too." He whispered as he rested his elbows on opposite sides of Callie's head, bringing his lips to her once more. Pushing up to mimic his, Callie intensified the kiss, clinging her hands to his back, as she wrapped her legs around his torso.
And just like that the moment was gone.
" All you babe," Callie laughed as Brandon rolled back to his side of the bed, grabbing the baby monitor. Shaking the plastic walkie talkie like thing in his hands he muttered, " Maybe she isn't really crying, maybe its broken."
Callie laughed at his nonsense as she pulled the covers from over herself muttering, " I'll go."
Brandon smirked, nipping the side of her hip as he whispered, " Get back in, I'll get her." Without hesitation Callie crawled back into bed, bringing the comforter to her chin, as she rolled to her side and closed her eyes murmuring," She's so lucky to have a dad like you."
Brandon's lips raised into a small smirk as he walked to his daughter's bedroom. Bringing her into his arms, he gently rocked her, whispering, " Babe, I know you're upset, but it's six in the morning on a beautiful Sunday morning,"
Sam glared into his eyes, a soft giggle escaping from her lips. Brandon placed a kiss on his young daughter's forehead, smiling.
Sometimes Brandon thought of how much Sam looked like Callie. Her large eyes, the small nose, the small patch of hazelnut curls that rested on the top of her head. The only feature Sam attained from Brandon was her green eyes. Subtle yet prominent, they were the exact shade of Brandon's.
