The moment the impact happened was one to remember. All thoughts in Nathan's head gave way for the beautiful images that were engraving themselves in his memory. It looked like a massive firework show but it signified victory for the human population. Both missile and spaceship disappeared into the flames which occupied the location they once were.

Nathan heaved a sigh of relief.

"We live to fight another day."

He turned back to his screen and continued watching the fiery flames when something snapped in his mind.

"Which camera is providing this feed?"

"How many missiles were launched towards the invading spaceship?" He asked Borgina.

"One. Why?"

"The missile is destroyed right now, isn't it?"

"Yeah." She replied.

"So how are we still viewing images from the scene?"

"Good question. I have no idea." Borgina replied.

Behind the scenes, Borgina was pissed off. Why in the world did Nathan keep catching these little slip ups? Couldn't he just enjoy the show and be happy the aliens were dead?
