As he focused his mind on his plan, the Rover screeched, turning right as it did. Its doors flung open almost immediately and a combination of relief and shock flooded Nathan's mind. He didn't wait to be told to get in before jumping in. The Rover sped off immediately. Nathan couldn't tell if the other Rovers were still in pursuit because there was no window to the outside world. For the moment, he was safe and it was all thanks to his loyal friend, Nurse Reese.
There was no communication until the Rover came to a halt. Nathan exited the machine and discovered he was within some sort of warehouse.
"Where is this?" He asked, certain he hadn't been there before.
"We're in a secret warehouse. I had to get you away from the soldiers on your trail." Nurse Reese replied.
Nathan followed her silently as she made her way through interconnected pathways. They all looked the same to him and he wondered how she could tell which way was the right one. She probably had the directions stored up in her information store. He didn't ponder over it for too long because they arrived at their destination – Nurse Reese's apartment.
