"So this is what it is. High level terrorism."
The information was right there in front of Nathan. A detailed takeover plan that involved everything he had experienced in the past couple of weeks. The Earth was never destroyed. What was going on was a carefully crafted plot to overthrow the US government.
"He only took those he needed for his plan." Nathan chuckled.
It was an angry chuckle. One that came out of the realization that he had been played for a fool.
"But I saw it happen. I was there. I saw the Earth crumble to pieces. I saw people die."
"He must have found a way to make you all see what he wanted. What was the last thing you remember on Earth?"
"I was watching the news with my girlfriend when I felt a mild shockwave. The chaos started immediately after that." Nathan replied.
His head was spinning. He didn't know what to focus on. He knew the truth but it was way too hard to believe.
"But I found evidence about the Earth's destruction in the MoonEx intelligence store."
"It was probably planted to throw you off." Nurse Reese Replied.
"Wait a minute. If the Earth was not destroyed, that means everything I saw was not true. Oh goodness... Brooke... Are you saying...?"
"I know it's hard to accept but be honest with yourself. Does everything not add up now?" She asked.
The answer to the question was yes but it was an overwhelming yes.
