Chapter One

Camille opened her eyes and found big cheeks in her face and she knew from the smell of chocolate ice cream it was her three year old baby Emma. She smiled and got up. "Happy birthday mom" Her sixteen year old twins Liz and Davis came in with a cake. Tears filled Camille's eyes "You guys are making me cry thanks. " They both kissed her cheeks apart from Emma ofcourse who kept snffing her neck. "The world's youngest mom... " Liz started and her twin followed. "You're right thirty eight years mom you should have a blast.
" No no... " Camille warned "No big party just a normal one with you guys and a few friends ofcourse but no big anything.... " Come on mom its your 38th birthday pleaassseee.... "Liz started"Am going with Liz this time ...... "her twin followed "mom you deserve the best you are the most awesome person in the world come on. " They both pouted and put pleading faces.
Oh would she turn down those adorable faces YES she would.

"Nope still no. " Come on... " her twins said at once as baby Emma crawled from her bed to Liz. But still she couldn't accept a big party it just wasn't her thing. She shook her head. "Aaaarrrgghh mom okay... Liz started for the door disappointed " come on Davis Emma won't even look at her. " Camille smiled " I love you guys" she screamed after them. She headed to the bathroom to take a long warm shower. As the water cascaded down her body it dawned to her that well she was 38 and had not been with a man well since... D'lorenzo her subconscious screamed at her. "Shut up what would you know." Camille spoke to herself. The fact that he's the only man you have ever truly loved and been with and umm... News flash he's the father of your kids. You know your first and only love. Camille turned off the shower if she kept this up she was going to run crazy and its her birthday she should forget about the past.
She dressed up and headed downstairs. Her nose was attracted to a certain aroma in the kitchen.
"Well would you look at that my babies are cooking for me. " Camille was surprised to see her kids in the kitchen. "Today chef Liz and Davis are going to feed you. " Davis spoke in an italian accent which reminded Camille of D'lorenzo. Ouch! Touchy subject. Danny pulled out a chair for his mom while Emma set the table filled with eggs and Bacon and chicken and wow.. "Hold on when did you guys cook all of this? " They gave nervous smiles so Camille resorted to her last option. "Emma my sweet bear how did these two do all this?" Camille coaxed her last born. "Chef Tommy" she screamed. "Mom its not fair Emma you are in big trouble" Liz warned. "You guys called chef Tommy you're in big trouble" Camille warned. Liz and Davis grabbed there bags "Bye mom we'll take the bus" They rushed out.
"Those two are in big trouble my love high five" Camille high five Emma's tiny hand as Louisa the nanny entered the house. "Happy birthday miss Camille" she said happily. "Thanks Louisa I have got to rush to work" she handed Emma who gladly went to Louisa and headed to work.
Camille entered the elevator of Selena hospital and got out to well..
"Happy birthday doctor Camille" her whole staff and some patients surprised her "Thank you everyone." Danny her best friend and workmate gave her a bear hug. "Well somebody is getting older" Danny teased. "Oh shut up not like you are growing any younger" I teased back. "So which patients are working on today" Camille decided to get back to work well her birthday is just a normal day no need to make it a big deal.
The day went perfectly well apart from the banquet of roses from well an admirer she thought and a patient who had poisoned herself which was weird because her husband looked very rich and loving because body guards and stuff but she was stable now. It was getting late. Camille headed home and found the house dark well alittle too dark for her liking had she forgotten to pay the bills she thought. She opened her door.....
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMILLE.. " her family and friends welcomed her. She still wasn't used to this. Her best friend Ariana Danny's wife came and hugged her. "I missed you my honey bunny happy birthday i love you so much" Camille embraced her friend. "Thank you my dear friend i love you too. " "Ok let the party begin" Ariana announced. As the party went on Camille checked on Emma who had fallen fast asleep. She headed to the kitchen to get the cake and cut it as they sang for her. The smile on her face was priceless. She was happy with her kids her friends what else could she ask for. D'lorenzo that voice in the back of her head. Aaarrgghhh! She ignored it and decided to live the moment. As the party went on Camille started clearing up when she heard the doorbell. Somebody was late for cake. The doorbell sounded again and no one was getting it. Camille headed for the door before it sounded again. Someone was impatient. "Hold your horses am coming" Camille opened the door but no one prepared her for what happened or who happened. She couldn't breathe how had he found her there was no way. The world was spinning beneath her this could not be happening to her. Oh crap!
"D'lorenzo....."was the last name she said before everything went pitch black.
