Hey yall I just want to start this out for thanking yall for trying my story out. I know its hard, sometimes, to find a good story and hopefully this is your good story. Thank you again -Kamrynxx
~Kacees POV~
"If im louder, would you see me? Would you lay down, in my arms and rescue me."
Niall Sang to me. I was crying my eyes out. It was like a dream come true. THE Niall Horan was singing my favorite song by One Direction to ME, of all people, to me! I was over whelmed. After his solo, he lent down, grasping my small frame in his arms, and just as our lips were about to touch.............I heard a buzzing sound. It was coming from Niall. I pulled back.
I woke up, disappointingly, to my alarm clock buzzing annoyingly. I slammed my fist down on the button and got up slowly. I drug myself to the shower.
After my shower, I put on my grey Mickey the Mouse shirt, faded skinny jeans and white converses. Soon as I was done, I grabed my bag, dashed down the stairs and out the door to my boring school life.
I walked into my classroom alone. I have no friends only people I ocasionally talk to. My life is sad. I nevously sat there as my classmates filled into the seats around me. I shifted uncomfortably looking down. The only reason I go to school is by force. I see it as a cruel torcher device.
I sighed waiting for the bell to ring to end school. I kept coughing. I thought to myself it just bronchitis again. Ive had it 3 times in the last 2 months. As soon as the bell rang, I dashed out the door and to my car and home. Because it was monday, we didnt have band practice. I had a slightly uncomfortable pain in my shoulder and arm, but I had done alot of yard work the day before so I thought nothing of it.
Once I got home, I got a snack and went up to my room. I worked on my homework. Yupp the boring life of Kacee Paredas. I sighed when Kiser barged ito my room.
"Kacee get your butt up our new neighbors are here."
"But Kiki I dont want to go. Why cant I just stay in here?" I whined as a five year old child would.
"Because 1 thats rude and 2 you need a friend and theres someone your, Kayden and my age down here so come on." He dragged me down. I sighed in frustration. He, Kayden and I are triplets just to make things clear. I sighed seeing my 2 older brothers and younger brother. Im the only girl.....such joy. Soon I saw the most gorgeous thing on Earth. It was a calico Australian Shepard. I'd always wanted one, but my dad never got me one. He only got Kyle(one of my older brothers) a rottweiler.
I went over to it and pet it. She licked my face causing me to let a slight giggle out.
"She likes you." I jerked my head to see a girl a bit younger the I.
"uhhh....." I stood up awkwardly.
"Hi im Kayleigh, but people call me Kay or Leigh. Thats pickles" She gestured to her dog and stuck her hand out.
I reached out and shook her hand, "I-im Kacee. I dont knkw what people call me."
"Are you popular or a nobody?"
"N-nobody I guess........I-im just shy." I looked down blushing.
"Kay dont care the poor girl. Im sorry. Hi im Jayden. Her older brother." He stuck his hand out and smiled a god like smile. I shook his hand politely. I dont know if it was obvious or not, but he caused me to got all asdfghjkl;' inside. Also when our hands touched, it sent a tingling sensation up my arm and through out my body.
I realized that I hadn't said anything back ad quickly snapped out of my thought, "Kacee. and shes fine im just not used to talking to people except for my family."
"Just think of us as family", Kay said with a bit too much enthusiasm, "I have a feeling with us living right next to eachother we're all gonna feel like that soon."
And she did have a point. I couldnt help but notice how dreamy his eyes were. They were like a sea of green and brown. I was instantly hooked wanting more, wanting to be the thing that caused his eyes to have that slight twinkle in them. But, surely, a boy with such good looks and already noticeably charming personality, wouldn't hang out with me. A nobody. A band geek. A loner. A nerd. The list could go on. He was grade A material, so, logically, he couldn't hang out with a low grade quality, such as myself.
It was then I realized we were still holdin hands. I blushed and pulled my hand from his, quickly looking down. "S-sorry."
All he did was chuckle and went and talked to Kayden. He was so calm about it and I was quietly hyperventilating. Kay-Leigh pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Mind showing me to your room?"
I just nodded and started up the stairs. She followed after me.
We talked for a while.....well she talked for a while I just sat and listened. Well heard not comprehended. I was too focused on his eyes to concentrate on what she was saying. I could tell, in his eyes, he had a wall up. He had been hurt deeply before. I started second guessing my prejudice thoughts about him.
