She fell asleep. Dreaming a dream of magnificence. Full of peace and happiness. She was full of life that she didn't know what to do with just quite yet...didn't know what anyone else wanted to do with her life either. Things would fall into place eventually, she just had to trust, just had to put all her worries away for awhile. At the moment she felt hopeless, just wanting somebody to take control, be the strings of the puppet. She still hadn't realized there already was a leader of her life. She dreamed of a happy place far away in a field of tall grass and flowers where she ran and played just like the little girl she used to be. Tea Parties, mud pies, kool-aid stained mouths, and scraped knees.

A man, tall and handsome walked over to her and gave her a teddy bear. She looked into its eyes and saw a girl. Saw a girl whom she immediately recognized as herself. She was lost. She was scared. She didn't know where she was going. Two roads were ahead of her, one the obvious path to take and the other not. She was still hesitating at which path to go down. She kept looking into the teddy bears eyes wishing she could help her. Knowing what path she needed to go down to end up where she needed to be, where she belonged. There was a box on the side of the road waiting to be opened. The girl in the dream saw it. She started yelling loudly at the girl inside the bear to go open the box but it was no use. She couldn't hear her. The little girl in the dream began to cry. Nobody around her was interrupted by her disturbance. They acted as if they couldn't hear her cries. But they had to! Why couldn't anyone hear her? Why did she feel so alone? Why couldn't she tell the girl in the bear what to do? Why did the man give her that bear?

As soon as she asked herself this, she knew the answer. She looked up at the man who had given her the bear and she realized who he was. He was God. He looked into her eyes and smiled his lovely smile and then turned around and walked away.

She woke up sweating as if she had just had a nightmare. She sat up slowly knowing where she had been just a little while before. She looked over and saw the teddy bear she had been given and smiled. Now, as she looked into the eyes of the bear, she saw herself again.

She watched herself walk down the right path into the arms of God. She had found her way home.
