I was running down the beach I didn’t know why I was in such a hurry but I knew if I didn’t do something fast someone was going to get hurt. I was surrounded by mist as I ran someone was following me. I picked up my pace then I stopped and the person tackled me and I flipped him over me. I stood up again avoided him and kept running until I got to the cave. I ran head long into the water and dove into the water. I got to the bottom and found people sitting down there tied down to an anvil. I went down to untie them and someone tried to grab me from behind they were trying to stop me. I kicked them and kept down trying to untie the anvil. “Stop”, a voice in my head said.

“No”, I thought back kicking him where it counted and he let go.

“Jane”, he thought and I felt more people trying to grab me. I finally got the first knot undone and I kept going ignoring the fact that I was drowning too. Finally one of them wrapped his arms around me and pulled me up to the surface. I gasped for air and then pushed him away and dove back in. I went back to the bottom and continuing untying them fighting the voice in my head and my own common sense. I had to save these people even it cost me my life. I finally got the last knot and they were free.

“I’m coming”, I said swimming up to the surface. I finally broke the surface and started to get out.

“Too late”, someone said and I was pushed back towards the water I hit the surface and…

I woke up with a start sitting on the floor. My heart was racing at the speed of light and I was having a hell of a time calming myself down again. What had happened last night? I’d had a dream and now I was awake I couldn’t remember it. I went over to my room’s walk in closet and went to my ring drawers. That’s right I said drawers I have five drawers full of rings. I collected them from past boyfriends, Bidz.com, pawn shops and other stores. I picked a white gold ring with a square cut piece of jade on it surrounded by diamonds. I got this one on Bidz.com and I loved it then again I loved all my rings. “Morning Janie”, Nikita said skipping in.

“Hey Nick”, I said grabbing my school uniform.

“How did you sleep last night?” she asked grabbing her uniform.

“I had a bad dream then I fell off my bed, I don’t remember the dream and I’m sore”, I sighed and then pulled out our iron and iron board. I still felt sleepy but I couldn’t sleep in again like yesterday. We turned on YouTube and we put on Wolverine’s song from the Oscars. We danced around singing along and trying not to laugh. We put the iron board out and she ironed her uniform and I danced around to Disney songs. We went to a super extensive boarding school so we could do whatever we wanted. I went into the bathroom and fixed my dark hair. I pulled it back into a ponytail and then up into a tight bun. I went back out and it was my turn with the iron. I ironed my shirt until it was creaseless and almost shiny and then I ironed my blazer. I put my long black pencil skirt on and then my shirt and blazer.

“You were sleeping walking again last night”, she said going into the bathroom.

“Sorry I’ve tried everything down to tying myself to the bed it’s so annoying”, I said quickly ironing my tie before I put it on, “you were speaking in Latin and floating things last night”.

“Shit not again I hate it when that happens”, she said pulling her hair back into a braid then pulled it back into a tight bun.

“It is fine Nick we’re all freaks”, I said buttoning up my blazer. All the people in our school had some kind of gift or condition. We’d been diagnosed with some illness, disease, condition or anything of the like. I’d been told I had psychosis, a couple of other conditions and I sleep walked. I’d always wondered what I really was but that was still a secret. Nick was a witch and they told her she had psychosis like me and anger management problems. We didn’t have any supernatural books at this school but it was pretty obvious what people were sometimes.
