Beautiful is the Earth that God placed me into waiting for me to find my place.

As I wait for something good to happen, I watch the colorful flowers bloom, and the graceful birds fly. Suddenly the wind takes me by suprise and I follow it downstream and into a meadow.

The tall golden grass danced as the wind danced with it and the air was dry.

I stand there listening to the flow of the water and the rustle of the tree leaves above.

I layed down, my head on a mound of dirt as I looked up at the clouds in the Summer sky.

Big puffs of feathers and cotton candy is what I saw.

I breathed in the warm air and the scent of pine leaves.

My eyes gently closed and I dozed off to sleep.

There were waves gently rolling onto the shore as I layed in the hot sand watching the gawking sea gulls above me.

A fisherman was near by living a life of his own and not caring what others thought.

I admired him though I wasn't quite sure why.

He was quiet but yet at the same time his thoughts were loud.

He seemed quite content with himself but lonely at the same time.

His heart was hurt.

Although I didn't know how I knew this or why I did, I decided I would store it away for later use.

I got up and started to walk down the shore-line of the beach.

I was wearing a flowy white dress.

I seemed to be as graceful as the wind as I danced with it.

The summer air filled my lungs as I walked along.

Sea seashells surrounded me....millions of colors, shapes, and sizes.

All were beautiful.

I picked up a light colored shell.

There inside of the shell poked the eyes of a tiny little crab.

I stood there for a short moment wandering what it was like to live the life of a crab....a shell being your main source of protection.

After awhile, I set it down gently in the wet sand and watched as a gentle wave carried it back into the ocean...such a dangerous place for such a delicate little creature.

Clouds started to role in from the north just as fast as I had been taken into the dream. It started to rain lightly at first then rapidly got faster and harder. It suddenly got SO hard I couldnt see my hand in fround of my face.

Where could I go at a time like this?

I could hear the waves crash harder onto the shore as time passed by.

I found myself looking for the fisherman in the distance as if he were my way home.

As I turned around there he was holding his hand out.

Carefully, I grabbed ahold of his hand wandering where he could possibly know where to go.

As soon as I took my first step into the unknown I awoke.

..................................................................................................

I breathed making sure of where I was at.

I sat up thinking of how wonderful that dream had been.

What could it have possibly have meaned........

I began to think it through slowly.

This is what I figured out:

All the different sea-shells were like all the different people in the world who were ALL beautiful.

As the wave gently took it back into the dangerous ocean, it was like parents slowly and gently letting go into the dangerous world knowing that they knew they had trained their child well for.

The fisherman was symbolising God.

I admired him, and his heart was hurt from watching all his children make mistakes.

He knew the way home and I didn't and thats why he lead me home.

I knew I was able to take my first steps into the unknown, because thats what God had shown me I could do in my dream...he showed me I could trust him.

..........................................................................................

I stood up feeling refreshed and ready to continue my life.

I walked up the stream and into the unknown as I felt confident with my life.
