The tide of the ocean has receded, it's time for me to say farewell.
The song has been sung and is now over, but time will remain standing still.
The lights are being turned out, one by one they flicker off.
Goodbye doesn't mean goodbye forever.
I lay down beneath my blankets, trying to find a warm and cozy place to fall asleep, and I close my eyes and listen to the sounds beyond me.
The crickets singing, and the waves crashing onto the shore.
The rustle of the tree leaves, and the light drops of rain that are thumping against the door.
My heart seems to beat slower as if in rythym with the rain, and then i see brightness coming my way.
My life flashes before my eyes, the memories flying past me oh so fast, and then I hear my name called by someone.
It's beautiful, the voice made up of love and grace.
I just wat to find who its coming from.
I want to see him face to face.
Everything is glowing like the sun at mid-day.
And then the rain stopped.
I went to the light, as swiftly as can be , leaving my body below and I became free.
Everything was beautiful.
Everything was in place.
The colors so bold, it felt like I was in a race.
I seemed to run across the meadows, the lakes, and the streams.
I jumped over mountains and everything in between.
I soared through the air like a bird with big wings and then there were suddenly stars above me.
I looked all around, not a clock in sight.
Time didn't matter here because there would always be light.
My GOD came before me with a big smile across his face and told me that I had finished the race.
He told me I had won, I had gotten first place.
This was my trophy, the best of them all.
I had taken my place in his kingom and was in love with this all.
Over in the field was my family and friends all waiting for me to come over to them.
This was happiness, this was love, this as what I had lived for, and it felt good.
No more suffering.
No more pain.
Just a nice kingdom to live FOREVER in.
