i got up to the front counter to order

"hi, what could i get you today?" a younger looking girl said to me with a smile

"hi. could i get a iced vanilla latte please?" i said as i took my wallet out of my purse

"yeah sure! would that be it for today?" she said as she pressed some buttons on the cash register

i turned around to nate. "do you want anything?" i said as i raised my eyebrow.

"oh no i'll pay for myself. but thanks anyways." 

"no, no, no. let me pay please" i turned around and the young girl looked a little irritated from our small conversation nate and i had.

"he'll just have a sweetened iced black tea" 

"is that all?" is looked at me, then back at the cash register, then back at me.

"yes" i said as i nodded my head. 

"that'll be $11.95 please" she said as she tapped on the screen of the cash register. i handed over the money and waited for my receipt.

"here you are. your drinks will be here soon" she said as she handed me my receipt. i turned around and went headed over to the other counter where they give out the drinks. nate follows right behind.

"you know you could at least talk to me since you were the one who invited me out." i said as i turned around on my heels to face him.

"oh well i thought that we'd talk at our table" he said as he had a look of confusion on his face.

"alright then" i said as i searched my purse for my phone.

"iced vanilla latte and sweetened iced black tea!" a worker shouted as he slid the drinks on the counter. i walked over and grabbed the drinks in both hands. i pasted nate and gave him his tea.

i swayed my hips back over to our table. i'm not trying to get with him. i'm just showing him what he's been missing out on, just like claudia said. lets just hope this meet up can be over so i can grab some take out for both me and claud and then we can just sit in our pajama's watching netfilx.
