Confused Or Stupid

I Had after school detention today. I slowly made my way down there. It was all the way  in the basement, dirty ass school. I got there and to my surprise, it was only like three of us. I sat down way in the back. There was a boy up front and a girl. The boy was a lame. I've seen him walking around the schools before, head kept down, slowly passing through the halls. He never talked much. Then there was someone else on the far side of the room. In the same row as me. I could tell it was a girl because her figure. She was laying her head on the desk and had her head phones in her ears. The detention teacher came in the room. 'Chrissy you need to raise yah head up, this ain't no sleep in, thought this was' the teacher said. Chrissy looked up and rolled her eyes. 'When this gone be over, cause I actually got stuff to do' she said. "Baby girl I don't care what you gotta do, ok , you better get cho-" the teacher started but got cut off by the intercom calling her to the main office. She looked at Chrissy one more time and left. "She tripping" I said. "Right I didn't even do anything to her old ugly ass" she said with her head still down. I didn't see her face all the way yet. " I'm August, by the way, you new?" I said. She  turned around and finally looked at me. And she was so beautiful. I love the way her eyes shined in the sunlight. 'My name is Chrissy and yea I'm new, give me your phone so I can text you when she come back'. I  gave her my number and turned my body towards the front of the room again, just in time to have the teacher walk back in the room. I lied my head down to the desk and went to sleep until I heard the bell ring hella loud. I looked around and saw that me and Chrissy had another after school ticket sitting on the corner of our desk, and guess who didn't give a fuck. I left out and continues to my normal walk to the parking lot. I got in my car and headed home.
