A/N: This is dedicated to Helena Burke, because we came up with this together
"It's time I told you of your past" said Coach. She was called that because no one knew her real name. Anyone who did died under mysterious circumstances. Lebron James, or Libby as some people -not Coach- ,called her looked up at her mother. She wondered whether it was a joke and she was going to have to do thirty push-ups. She hoped not.
"Lebron James" said Coach "You're not my child."
"Well, I always figured that, but who are my real parents?" asked Libby
"I don't know, let me tell you the story" said Coach.
Flashback
"10 years back I was thirty, and much too caught up in life to think about men and settling down."
Libby snorted. More like being much too caught up in being a drill sergeant.
"Shut up you. Gimme 20 curl-ups now!" yelled Coach. Libby did the curl-ups. It was easier then crossing her.
"Let that teach you to be quiet while I'm talking. Now, I was much too caught up in life to think about men and settling down, but I did want a child. So I went to the E-Z orphanage and a adopted a little boy."
"What?" exclaimed Libby "but I'm a girl!"
"I'm aware," said Coach "At first I adopted a little boy, but then I realized a couple hours later they had giving me a floater* (see coach's dictionary). So, I went to the hospital and switched the dead body with a newborn baby girl and named you Lebron James after what I hoped you would become. You then disappointed me... The End"
Dream Sequence to Present Time
Libby stared in shock at Coach. Coach wasn't her mom and wasn't supposed to be either. Coach had stolen her from her birth mother, who was probably was looking for her and wanted to put Coach in jail. Libby was okay with that. Sometimes Coach acted like a demon from the underworld. Libby went through the rest of her day in a blur, thinking about Coach. After a while she sunk back into the routine she had before Coach told her the shocking news.
