Chapter 5: Welcome home

*Andy's P.O.V*

"Thank you and goodnight." I said.

We bowed before leaving the stage. I went side stage but noticed Jade wasn't there. The guys came to the same conclusion.

"Where did Jade go?" Jake asked.

"I don't know. Yanni, where's Jade? The girl that was back here." I asked our security guard.

"I don't know. I didn't see her." He replied.

"I took care of her." The venue security guard said.

"What do you mean? We wanted her back here." I said.

"Oh... I brought her back to the crowd." The guard said.

"What?" I said, a little angry.

I wanted to help Jade, whether it was put her in an adoption home or take her in myself. I had talked with my wife, Juliet, and she was okay with it. I had also talked with the guys because she would be finishing the tour with us if I took her in.

"Uh oh." CC said.

"What if she's gone already? She has no idea." I said, worried.

"It's okay, Andy. We can find her." Ashley said.

"Well, we have to start now." I said. "Split up guys." I said.

We all went in different directions to try and find her. I went to the bus, thinking she might want to see us there. I saw a girl with red hair in front of me.

"Jade!" I called out.

I started running towards her.

"Jade!" I said again.

She turned around and saw me.

"Thank god!"

"Hi." She said back, a little confused.

"Hi." I said, a little out of breath.

"Andy, I found her." CC called from behind me.

I turned around and he ran up next to me.

"Found her." He said.

"Yeah. So did I." I said.

"Hey guys." CC called for the rest of the band.

They came running up next to us.

"Uh, what's going on?" Jade asked, confused.

"Oh, right. Jade, I really want to help you, in any way I can. I talked with the rest of my band and with my wife and I wanted to take you in." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"I want you to live with me. I'll take care of you." I said.

I smiled back at her.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah. I don't want you to live like this anymore. I want to help you. What do you say?" I asked.

She stood there in shock.

"Um, okay." She said, a smile forming on her face.

"Yay!" I said.

I hugged her and then the guys joined in and we had a group hug.

"Okay, so where is you stuff?" I asked her.

"Um, follow me." She said.

We told our tour manager the situation and then we followed Jade to a public locker room type thing and she went to one and punched in a code. The locker opened and revealed a suitcase and a guitar case.

"This is my stuff." She said, grabbing her things.

"Woah." CC whispered to us.

We were all shocked a little bit. We knew she was homeless but I guess it didn't register until now.

"Hey. I can take your guitar for you." Ashley offered, grabbing the case from Jade.

"Thanks." She replied.

"Is this a bass?" He asked.

"Yeah." She said, smiling.

"Nice!" Ashley smiled back.

"I can grab your suitcase." I offered.

"Thanks." Jade replied.

I grabbed the suitcase and we went outside of the building. The bus had met us here and we walked on it.

"Woah." Jade said as she stepped on.

We all laughed a little.

"It's cool, huh?" Jake asked.

"Yeah..." Jade replied.

We all got settled and the bus left.

"Wait!" Jade said.

"Stop the bus!!" I said after.

The bus came to a halt.

"What's wrong?" I asked, concerned.

"What about school?" Jade asked.

"What about it?" I asked back.

"Well, I have my stuff there still. Don't you need to tell them I'm not going there anymore so I don't get in trouble?" She said.

"Shit. Yeah. Okay, where's your school? We can get things settled tomorrow." I said.

She gave us directions to her school and we went to the nearby travel station to spend the night since the school was near the highway.

I went to the local government office to do all of the paperwork to adopt her. When we get back home, Juliet would have to finish the paperwork. Afterwards, I went back to the bus and saw Jade cuddled up on Ashley's lap. I smiled at the sight.

"Careful with my daughter, Purdy." I warned, playfully.

"Shit, you did all the stuff already?" He asked.

"Yup. It's official." I said.

"Awesome. Jade Biersack, welcome home." Ashley said, smiling.

"Well, I'm gonna hit the hay. Don't stay up too late." I said.

"Alright. Night, Biersack." Ashley replied.

"Night." I said.

I crawled into my bunk and drifted asleep.
