High in the sky, glowing so radiantly in the night. The moon, the faithful witness of mankind's pursuits, trials, struggles and accomplishments. Witnessed one night one particular blue light racing through the trees below. Curiously he fixed his attention to the thing below.

Run, run!!! I must run and never stop, why won't you leave me alone?! Escape I must escape!!! Why are you beating so blue!!! Why are you so unrelenting!!! Am I to be tormented for all my days?! Run Run, that you may never enter my mind. Focus, I will. Focus that I may be distracted from you. BLUE!!!

The moon could hardly understand what would  drive a creature to run so fervently so resolute, and have what seemed to be no destination. That faithful satellite was quite intrigued with the odd little light below, which went this way and that way. Always running.

STOP!!! BLUE!!! I dash through this forest past that tree that rock this brook. Yet I can not seem to leave you behind. As I sob, it is no relief. You torment me all the more. Where is my comfort? I sob, blue. You have won, I CRY!! Now leave me in peace, give sure cease of the pain you lavish upon me. For if this feeling had a weight certainly a man would be crushed. Like being compressed within a black hole it has captured and compressed me. Dash, dash all the more I dash!!

Hmm... After hours of running, he has finally stopped next to that large tree in the open field.  Has he finally tired out? Or has he become stuck some how? Thought the moon.

Move!!! I must keep running it will catch up to me. Run, I MUST run. No please no, I feel you racing after me, no do not catch up. Don't catch up!!! Aaaah!!!

Watching in wonderment with the clouds above. The moon saw the blue light below glow even brighter than before.

Run, no no more running. Stuck, I am stuck, pain of heart has immobilized me. One trip of a branch, and I can not move. You were not too far behind. I tried my best to stay ahead of you, where did it all go wrong?

What a strange place you have woven Blue. This siring emotion is a new level, I didn't know pain could feel like this. Get up!! I must get up!! Outrun you blue that is what I will do. I will out run you!!!

With his eyes fixed on the blue light below, the moon saw the light begin to fade below as it began moving again. One yard 2 yards then 3, 10 yards down, again a dead stop. And the light radiated ever more brilliantly.

Aaah!! I am driven insane!! Numb I am numb now. What is happening? I am scared, frightened! What's next?! Am I going Crazy? I am not well. Will you be my only companion Blue? Are you? Blue my only companion. Numb, so numb. Your unrelenting bombardments have made me this way. It is so dark here. I have lost it, I am no longer sane. Am I Blue? Is this what you wanted?

The Moon had pity for the poor thing below, it had stopped struggling and was so still now. But the glow of the blue light seemed to get brighter with every passing hour.

Pain, pain go away then come back another day. Pain pain go away then come back another day!!! Tears won't stop. They flow as little sparkling shadows of how I feel.

The Moon was becoming concerned, he could see that the forest and fields surrounding the intense glow, was begging to shrivel and die.
He kept thinking, what is going to happen next? And suddenly a loud roar crackled throughout the night sky!

What has happened to me? Slave, yes a slave of the deepest hurt. BLUE!!! You have swallowed me whole.

Look at this, with a single touch, these branches crumble in my hands like ash in the wind. I feel you Blue, now my tears will never stop. I ruin everything that comes into my presence. I step five yards this way, and that is five yards more of death ahead of me. Oh how I wish I would have outrun you. Now all is in shambles. I am in chaos. No longer a man but a broken tinker toy. Of no use to anyone now. Should I discard myself now. Now that I am worthless? Yes, it is for the best.

The Moon gazing at every movement the bright light below took. Noticed that it was getting closer to the heavens. Closer to him. Finally when the light reached the highest peak. Moon asked: "Are you well child?"

What? Whom are you?

I am the one in the Heavens, and I asked, are you well child? Asked the voice.

What does it matter Voice, I am done for now, and so I have come all this way to end it all. So, in answer to you, no I am not well. I am worthless.

Who says you are worthless? He replied.

Blue says it. And he is right.

Is he? In response.

Yes he is, he makes me feel it in the innermost part of myself.

Poor man entangled in sin, did you make yourself or cause yourself to come into being? Voice said with conviction.

No, certainly I was created, I came forth from my mothers womb.

Then whose word should you listen to, that of imperfection or that of your creator? Voice queried.

But I have heard no other voice telling me otherwise.

Then incline your ear to listen earthling man, you are worth much. For the Sovereign of the universe has given much to save you. Value your life, though writhing with pain, and rely on your maker!! He will grant you the peace you ache for. Voice said soft yet firm.

How do I rely on the Sovereign of the universe?

Talk to him and read his letters. Simple isn't it? Voice stated.

If I can not trust my maker who surely loves me. For who makes something simply for nothing, or has children of enjoyment for abandoning? Certainly I will do as he asks.

During the conversation the Moon could see that the blue light that was so intense at the start was now losing its luster. Surely the man below had taken things to heart, for here is the evidence. The moon thought.

Though Blue never truly left the man, he was given a measure of peace from his rightful Sovereign, until the end of  Blues dominion over afflicting man finally came to its end.

The faithful witness continued to kept watch over the earth, aiding the sovereign of the universe in helping mankind below. All the days until all the universe could stand in unity, and be at peace.
