The Last Kobayashi (a naruto fanfic)

Eleven

I stopped somewhere in the middle of the forest just as the man who has been following us jumped out.

"Tch." I clicked my tongue, a scowl on my face.

"Holy shit! Where'd he come from?" Nii-chan asks with wide eyes, then he notices the man's kunai and pulls out his own, becoming slightly more serious.

"Oh? Who's the boy?" The man asks, a patronizing smile on his face.

"None of your concern." I glared, turning to Nii-chan, and in a demanding tone say, "This is my fight, stay out of it."

"What is the great night fox doing with this little shaky genin?" He sneered tossing a kunai in nii-chans direction. I used my tail and caught the kunai.

"What do you want?" I demanded, throwing the kunai down.

"You have quite the large bounty out on you in the bingo book." He smirked, pulling out a bingo book and skimming through it. "So, i've come to collect."

With that he came at me, I pushed nii-chan away and dodged the incoming punch.

"Weak." I mumbled with a smirk, dodging every punch he threw at me.

"Guess I can't go easy" He sighed pulling out a kunai and throwing it quickly at me. I dodged but I went straight into an oncoming barrage. I managed to move out of the way in time, but got scratched by a few of them. Shit, this was a long range fighter, no wonder he was so weak up close. He waits for his opportunity then strikes.

I glanced into his cold, calculating grey eyes and sighed. He's thinking too much on this. I threw a kunai, only to have my hand skimmed by a kunai. Shadow clone. I got to relaxed.

"Just give up night fox. Or I might have to go after the tyke there." He nodded to Nii-chan, who was paying more attention to me then the shadow clone behind him.

"Shit!" I yelled, running after him, but not before getting a kunai stabbed through my side. I gritted my teeth and kept going, managing to throw a kunai just as the clone through one.

My kunai killed the clone but, the clones kunai scratched nii-chans arm as I pushed him out of the way.

"Fuck" He mumbled holding onto the scratch as blood dripped down. My eyes widened as I saw the first drop of blood and I growled, my fangs growing slightly and my eyes darkening in anger. Something in me snapped.

"Wrong move, asshole." I yelled out. He was laughing.

"Oops, you weren't fast enough kitty." He was laughing until I appeared in front of him, causing his eyes to widen and him to stumble back.

I quickly grabbed his shirt and threw him as hard as I could at the nearest tree. The impact caused bits of tree to scatter and he wearily climbed out, blood dripping from his head.

That didn't stop me. I went after him and grabbed his arm, roughly ripping it off at the joint. The scream of agony that erupted from his lips making a sadistic smile form on my lips. This is one of the things i missed from the akatsuki. The terror.

"Please. Show me mercy. I'll leave!" He begged as I licked the blood off of my hand and reach out, digging my nails into his shoulder, where the arm was torn off and pulling him closer. Before he would scream in pain I sunk my teeth into his other shoulder, ripping off a chunk and spitting it out as he flailed, screamed, kicked and tried to get away.

This continued on until he was a blubbering bloody mess, chunks and limbs missing.

"Oops you weren't fast enough." I giggled, sinking my teeth into his neck and ripping out his jugular. Spitting out and basking in the blood that sprayed out.

"A-akari?" I heard someone mumble out in fear before the smell of pee filled the air. This made me snap back to reality. I wasn't in the akatsuki anymore. This isn't normal... I'm not supposed to be like this.

"Nii-chan" I tsked. "I thought you were too old to have accidents."

"S-shut up." He mumbled, letting out a sigh and going into his backpack to grab a new pair of clothes.

This is gonna be a long trip.
