6:00 P.M.Serena watched as the house went into deeper chaos. She was impressed that a spirit could keep a poltergeist for so wrong and yet even get stronger than before. Some people were running towards the woods or others roads the cemetery. Oakley, an unconscious Trevor, and her were all in the middle of the road at most thirty feet from the house.
Emmet and Taylor had gone to prepare a ceremony of sorts and went farther down the road. Soon she heard footsteps behind her. The two were coming back. Emmet had Taylor's shoulder over his. She was walking unsteadily. "Oakley, stay with these two. Serena, I need you to find the spirit we were talking about."
Serena nods timidly and takes in a deep breath. Once she exhales her sense reaches to the house. Souls were all in powerful clusters, but she realized they were all staying away from one big area. She tries to look inside, but she starts to feel sick and begins to feel fear. "I-I think I found it," she says as she opens her eyes.
"Lead the way," Emmet says. Serena looks at Oakley and tries to give her a reassuring smile, but all she saw was pure terror in her friend's eyes. "Emmet, no, she can't go in there. She is a light to the moths!" Oakley protests.
"Oakley," Serena says," I'll be fine. I know if I at least try I know I can help even if it's just a little." Serena smiles that at the girl she has recently call a friend. Oakley sighs in defeat and nods.
Taylor was whispering something in Emmet's ear when she turned to look at him. He nods and looks at her. "Let's go,"Emmet says. He grabs a bag and slings it around him. The two set of to the house once more. She heard her heartbeat racing with each step she took. She can still hear her mother and grandmother to never try to help spirits. Never talk to them. Act like she never saw them. When she was little she would here stories about the woman who died because she tried to help a spirit.
Every part of her said no. Turn back. However, she knew that if she didn't do this. The whole Love family would be on chaos and ready some have lost their lives to the curse that has been placed upon them. Even people outside of the family as well. They walk inside by the grand doors. The sight is now even more disturbing. Spirits running in the corners of her eyes. The living was writhing in utter pain.
However, there was one thing she knew that no one could see. Blood was everywhere! It was oozing on the walls, the ceiling gave the occasional drops of it. The floor had gigantic puddles of blood like the one she was in. As she lift her shoe, the blood stained the purple tennis shoes.
"Lead the way," Emmet says. Serena nods timidly and takes a step further into the hell hole. The smells were so over powering, Serena thought she would faint. The sounds of crying, screams of agony, and maniac laughter filled the house. As Serena walks, she tries to keep the place with the biggest energy. Her feet move on their own as if they have lived on this house themselves. Finally, the come to grand doors.
The doors would've been beautiful if it weren't for the blood that ran down the wood. Serena could see glints of gold. The indents displayed a beautiful tree that held two doves. Emmet pulls the door open and looks inside. Serena gets a huge blast of energy from the room, and she gets knocked into a wall. She hits a chair thay was I b the large hallway.
"Serena, are you okay?" Emmet asks. His usual poker face as he kneels down to help her up. She nods and looks at the room. The scent of blood was stronger now, and the room was pitch black. She gets up and goes inside the room. She catches a red light. Emmet starts to head towards it. She follows him. Soon the blood started to get deeper. It was up to their ankles. Serena held the urge to gag.
Finally they reach the source of the light. Serena puts her hands up to her mouth. The scene made her want to gag. Woman of the Love family were chained to the wall naked. They were all moaning in pain. Large, cicular-shaped wounds were all over. They all were slowly bleeding to death. "W-we need to help them," Serena says. She tries to run over to them, but she slips and falls into the ankle deep blood.
Emmet walks over to her and hands her a hankercheif. "We will, once we get rid of the Demon that gains them," he says with a growl in his voice. Although there was no indication on his face thay he was angry, the boy's eyes were like a man who was disgusted with the darkness of the world. Serena shivers at the sight. Suddenly, everything went silent. Sean and Emmet looked all over on confusion.
"Where is she? Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?" a dark voice repeated. Serena gets up and looks at the direction. The boy thay she saw when she was saving Jazmin was there. Except he looked like a monster from a horror movie. His chest was bleeding from the wound he received before he died, his eyes were dark like his pupils were majorly dilated, and he twitched like he was having a seizure.
"Charity is gone. She's been dead for years," Serena tries to explain to the spirit. "She is not here. Please, move on and free this family and the spirits. There is no reason to stay." The spirit simple stops talking and looks directly at her. She starts to feel its uncontrollable rage, and undieing bloodthirst as I looks straight at her. She unconsciously trembles, but continues to speak. "Please, stop this nonsense. Please, let go of this world. You no longer belong here."
"Keep him busy. I need to prepare a little bit," Emmet says as he unzips the bag and grabs things from it.
"You are no longer living. Were you aware of this?" Serena asks the spirit. As if to answer yes for it, the women started to scream in pain. "Stop, please, god, stop. They haven't done anything to you." The women stop screaming, and the spirit glides to Serena. The feelings that she felt intensify. She starts to feel severe pain in her head.
"They are descendants of the man who killed me. The man that taunted me everyday looking like her. I was going to kill him. But that night...BUT THAT NIGHT I WAS TRICKED AND I WAS KILLED. HE SAID IT WAS CHARITY'S IDEA. HE LIED TO ME. SHE'S MINE. SHE CAN NEVER BETRAY ME. SHE'S MINE. NOW, WHERE IS SHE! WHERE IS SHE! WHERE IS SHE!" the spirit screams in Serena's face and the pain in her head sharpens even more. She yelps in pain and falls back into the blood.
"My Lord," Emmet's voice interupts. The pain stops suddenly. "The lady Charity Love." A golden light of a womanly figure walks over the surface of the blood and goes to the dark spirit. Then there are constant whispers. She looks around and sees all the spirits of the house.
The dark spirit glows and a handsome man with a lighter expression appears. Kory Love before he was mad. Blood begins to fade, and all the noises of the house begin to quiet. "Cha-Charity," the spirit says breathlessly. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I will never do this again. Please, forgive me." The woman hugs Kory and soon spirits were glowing normal and we're beginning to fade. They were disappearing from the house. Soon the woman and Kory disappeared as well.
"Serena, call the ambulance. Tell them that we need major care now. Then go to the others and tell them that they need to start help pack up. I want to leave before the press get here," Emmet orders. He begins checking the women on the wall and sees if he can help out. Serena immediately gets to work for him.
The ambulance was called and the others, even Trevor, helped pack as quickly as they could. "Are you coming with us?" Emmet asked Trevor once they finished.
"I don't think so. Even though I dislike most of them, I still think should at least help out. Can make sure Jazmin is alright for me?"
"Yes I can. Trevor be careful though it may seem like it's gone we don't know if it truly is. Sometimes big events can make the haunting come back," Emmet informed.
"Yeah, I'll make sure to call you if it does," Trevor shrugged. "See you guys later." With that, Trevor walked away from them and back to the huge crowd. Serena closed her eyes and fell quickly asleep.
