I'm sorry for the wait. Writer's block is the worst. Also, this is the last chapter of the book. There will be an epilogue, but no book 2. I could do it on Flint and Cinder's children, but I don't think I will. I'm far too focused on my YangXOc story, "The Catalyst" which is also the first book in my Eclipse Series I've begun. Well, if you've enjoyed this book ap go and check out the other! Peace!

---

A man, covered not by the shadows but by mere darkness, walked amongst his army. It was very bright out, and yet the darkness shrouded him. It covered him, followed him, absorbed him even.

His smile, a crooked crescent white moon, flashed itself. He was ready, ready for his revenge. He suddenly broke out laughing, finding himself excited for the upcoming battle.

"Time to pay, Ozpin. For what you did to me, you and James MetalDick."

----

Flint rose his arm, bringing his silver blade up to block Cinder's dual swords. The metal clang sounded, forcing Cinder to spin her body and aim for his left side. Flint blocked accordingly, then jumped over her. He lashed out at her legs, just merely kicking them and making her fall.

She landed roughly, her dual blades landing at her sides.

"Ow!" She shouted, prompting Flint to walk to her. He pulled her up, onto her two feet before asking her telling her his proclamation.

"Cinder...." Flint's eyes were hidden from the beautiful female's gaze, telling the female instantly that what he had to say was bad.

"I'm going into the mountains tomorrow. Alone. I don't think I'll be back for a while." Flint said, still not showing her his eyes. Without waiting for a reply, he quickly placed his hand over head head. She could see his eyes now, and they were full of tears. However, he was smiling. It was a weird picture, Flint smiling and crying at the same time.

"Take good care of Emilia, alright?" Cidner stood speechless, unable to find her words. It was just like when he had mysteriously left during their school years, only now Cinder didn't know the reason why.  Before she could respond, before the first thought came to her mind, Flint deleted the thought with one move.

He leaned in and kissed her, holding the kiss for quite sometime. He eventually broke the kiss, placing his forehead against hers.

"Goodbye, Cinder." Flint briskly said, not wanting to full on burst into tears. Before Cinder could react, he was already out the door and away from eye shot.

"Fucking idiot." Cinder cried as her legs gave out, forcing her to fall. She attempted to use her hands to wipe away the tears, but they didn't disappear. They stayed with her, not leaving her alone for the entire day.

---

Flint silently walked away from the large wall that signaled the city of Atlas, the forest completely enveloping him. He didn't know how long he walked for, but he knew that it was well over 7 hours. He ran up a tree, then perched himself. He was awaiting for the  army of death to reach him so that he could destroy them. It wasn't long before his head nodded, finally allowing him to sleep comfortably.
