Chapter 6 - Mangoes, Pears and Dragonfruit

"Oh dangflabbit!" Lace proclaims.

Now being stuck in a locked room with your Crush of FOREVER named Crush should be glorious but now when a) its Freak Week b) All day you'll be listing lists of your favourite things and c) your crush named Crush has just admitted he is LoudMouth it's not very glorious.

"Yes Lace that is correct I am LoudMouth, and I also love Chicken Pot-Pie, Shepherds pie and Kangaroo Pie which I tried when I visited the scarce country of...AUSTRALIA!"

"How? Why? What? I love snickers, mars bars and Kit Kats!"

"It began when I started school and I realised my name was Crush. Everyone liked a guy called Crush, why not! Your crush called Crush! Then around grade 4 when I started liking the colours blue, orange and dynamo red someone said 'Hey you're like the guy from Finding Nemo! Hey man how old are you? 150?'

Everyone laughed at me constantly asking my age and species speaking of, my favourite bird species are hornbills, penguins and pigeons. Finally I'd had enough I looked to science for revenge. If one knows all there is to know about science and world then one can eventually take over the world using science!

I met your brother online. I wasn't lying to him I really did like him! Bee-tee-dubs I like guys, boys and men. Sorry sweetheart but you were just a decoy.

Your brother and I discuss how to stop climate change but I never wanted to stop it i wanted to change climate change!

It was brilliant! Once your brother was taken away I was free to do what I wanted and thats how Freak Week began! 

It was marvelous, I could choose whatever I wanted to happen and it would! Remember hair colour change day a personal favourite if I do say so myself!" Crush laughed to himself while Lace stared in horror. A boy whom she'd liked forever wasn't really every the boy who she knew!

Suddenly Crush's face changed to a look of concern.

"About two weeks ago I lost control of the satellite. I was planning this years Freak Week when it freaked out! I had no clue what it was going to choose or when it was going to come. Usually I experience it in the comfort of my home where I've made it immune to the effects of freak week but this year I was stuck in school with you losers.

 So I set your brother free and convinced him to come here I needed help to stop Freak Week but when your brother arrived saying he knew how to stop it I couldn't have any of it! I wanted to stop it with him! Not he stop it alone! So I programmed the computers in the school to do what I asked them to include take Banana hostage also my favourite fruits are mangoes, pears and dragonfruit! Banana isn't actually in danger...but she might be now."

"What!" Lace yelled

"Well the computers have taken over! They're doing everything now! Taking Banana hostage, writing on the board and locking us in this room!"

Crush grabs my shoulders and looks me dead in the eye.

"Lace. we need your brother. He is the only person in the world who stop Freak Week and free everyone! I'd also like a free car, house and boat."

Just as Lace opens her mouth to reply the door slams open with Harry, Marmie, Mr Kevin and Jim on the other side.

"Guys come now! We've found Banana but its not good." Harry looks down to the floor, sadness in his face.

"SHE'S DEAD?" Lace yells

"Not dead! You piece of beauty, stupid, coconut cream pie" Marmie says and slaps Harry's arm. "oh yeah Lace we're together now. HASHTAG HARMIE FOUR EVER"

"Guys, cute but where's Banana?" Lace asks in concern.

"Well remember when we did the experiment abut dropping an egg off the top science building and seeing if it breaks and I also love scrambled, fried and poached eggs." Marmie says nervously

"Oh no" 

"Oh yes" The group turns around to face Crush.

"Sike Lace" And he takes out a fancy looking controller, "I guess I lied. Oops!"
