Alexs POV
The cyber state is a place full of selective rooms for each prodigy. So I decided to take Fletcher to the art room. When we walked in he took in the art room. Full of supplies, colors, and every other thing a artist prodigy. "Wow this is amazing!" Fletcher exclaims "yeah uncle Z made these. Theres all sorts. But I thought I'd bring you here in case you ever had an artistic idea worth painting" I smiled saying. "Hey let's try it out!" he offers "sure!" I agree. I go sit by an easel and start on my painting. Maybe I should choose Fletcher. I mean we both love art and have a lot in common. Maybe it's the right decision
Nevils POV
"Angus! I need you" I say finding him in the computer room "what for?" he asks turning his chair toward me "Fletcher is with Alex in the art room and I wanna make sure nothing goes on" I say as Angus turns to his computer and turns on the security camera for the art room. I get a close look at it and it shows Alex painting while Fletcher is sneaking looks at her. Soon enough he puts his arm around her and I can see what's coming next "thanks Angus" I say running out the room and towards the room with Fletcher and Alex. Was I nervous Fletcher would get Alex? Not really but I wasn't taking my chances. Alex will be mine again. She can't deny how she looks at me with get big blue eyes that belonged to me before and once again it will be.
I found the art room and I came in just when they were leaning in "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything" I said with a grin knowing that I did. "Oh um no" Alex said blushing. Fletcher gave me dead eyes but I ignored them "So Alex I was hoping that we could go to the balcony and watch over the view" I offer as she takes quick glances as Fletcher and I "um s-sure" she says walking out of the room "ill meet you by the elevator I got a word with Fletcher" I say as she nods and heads off as I step in Fletcher jumps up "dude! You can't do that!" he exclaims "do what? I'm just playing the war right" I shrugged grinning "what war?" he asked "the one for Alex's heart. It's practically already won by me I'm just making it a definite win" Alex will be mine again. We've gone through too much for some American kid who can paint a flower to ruin it all! "Alex is gonna be mine no matter what you say Nevil" he says crossing his arms "we will see about that" I say leaving to meet up with Alex by the elevator.
Who does Fletcher think he is? Alex has been in my protection since they broke up. I've been there for her and he hadn't! He needs to except Alex is mine. I stand by Alex "what did you tell hi-" I cut her off by dipping her and planting my lips on hers. The sweet taste on mine. She kissed back sweetly making me smile. She pulled back and smiled "what was that for?" she asked with her diamond blue eyes wide "just proving how great you would look under my arm" I say as she giggles and steps into the elevator. Now Alex doesn't mind me flirting with her and that's what helps me believe she wants me too. That and the joy she doesn't mind me kissing her on surprise reasons. She probably wants our old relationship back, us happy and in love. My mum that will never stop telling her about fantasies about us having kids and getting married no matter how many times I tell her to stop. Alex would always just laugh at them and say there sweet thoughts. Another thing that she only cares about her and her goal. Wether it was to love a person and keep a healthy relationship or become artist of the year.
We arrived to the balcony and walked out. We stood over the side and looked out. You could see a lot out here. "It's really nice out here" she says judging the place like its a book "yeah I thought you'd like it" I say as she turns and gives me a dimpled smile that I fell in love with. No girl could ever get my heart racing like Alex could. Just her smile made it skip a couple beats. But it skipped for her. "So what are we gonna do out here?" she asked curious. Alex's attention span gets cut short quick when there's not much to entertain. I learned that the last time I brought her to walk on the beach. She kept either picking at shells or splashing the water. "We can just sit and chat" she shrugs and grins "ok". We walk over to a table and sit down "so how's Z tech treating ya?" she asks "its been good. Not so great with my roommate on the first day but good" I answer. Fletcher needs to take a hint. She's mine. "I'm sure you'll warm up to each other hes very sweet and so are you" she says nudging my shoulder. I shrug "maybe I don't have anything in common with him so I think we should just stay out of each others way" I say coming up with an excuse "don't be silly you'll grow on each other it just takes time" she shrugs. I decided to change the coversation before she gets any ideas. "So Rickers been good. You should come and visit him" I say grinning as she nods "I should. Has Fletcher met him yet?" she asked as a smirk creeped onto my face. Fletcher meeting my snake? Noted. "Not yet but he will soon" I answer
Fletcher's POV
I fell asleep after unpacking my bags and stuff. But I woke up to the sound of hissing? I open my eyes and meet the eyes of a python. I shriek in fear and suddenly I hear laughing. I see its Nevil that's on the floor laughing "dude! That wasn't funny!" he picked himself up "your girls shriek spoke otherwise" he says through chuckles "where did you get a snake from?!" I freak. He holds up the serpent and pets the top of it's head "it's my pet. His name is Ricker. Ricker, say hi" he says putting the thing in front my face causing me to jump "get that thing away!" I command "so you can like Alex but you can't like Ricker?" he asks like one thing had to do with the other. "What's that go to do with anything?" I ask but Alex comes in almost on cue. Her eyes wander around "hey guys- Ricker!" she cheers running over and grab the snake from the grinning Nevil. I'm not sure if I put this together before, but Nevil runes with devil and I don't think it's a coincidence
